Received a letter regarding business name renewal.
They did not claim to be ASIC but doesn't mean it's not a scam!

Do not pay them money .
Bservice.com.au receives overwhelmingly negative reviews and is widely flagged as a rip-off by consumers. They send unsolicited, official-looking renewal notices for business names, charging processing fees on top of standard statutory government costs.

Received a letter in the mail saying I need to renew my business name for $199. It is a SCAM. They get your address from ASIC search and then send a letter to business owners trying to trick them into giving them money.
To actually renew your business name do it via the official ASIC website (search ASIC business name renewal on google)

I am sharing my experience to warn other business owners about the renewal notices sent by this company.
I received a physical letter that, in my opinion, was designed to mimic an official government notice from ASIC. It was formatted as a "Notice of Renewal," which led me to believe I was paying a mandatory government fee. I later discovered this is a third-party service charging a significant markup over the official government price.
The Interaction:
Immediately after paying, I realized the mistake and contacted the company to request a cancellation. I was informed that a refund would not be issued due to their Terms and Conditions, despite no service having been performed yet.
The correspondence from their support team became quite aggressive. I was told that if I attempted to dispute the payment with my bank by lying (of course, I wouldn't lie), they would initiate a "police investigation" and they characterized my request as "criminal activity." I found these intimidation tactics to be highly unprofessional and distressing.
The Outcome:
I proceeded to dispute the transaction with my bank for "Service Misrepresented." After reviewing the case and my communication with the company, the bank successfully reversed the transaction.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Offers a paid service for something that is free!

SCAM - sends letter by post to stooge me to pay for ASIC renewal, instead I can pay ASIC directly or via my tax accountant.

SCAM. Sends letter in mail. Do not engage with this service.

10000% SCAM, and so is the letter they send you in the mail

Do not pay anything to this company. They again are another company who are scammers that take advantage of small business owners by stating they provide third party business name renewals. Do not use.

Scam scam scam. Received a paper to renew business renewal, nothing official about it.

Scam. Sent a letter and nothing official about it.

Scam. Takes your money, keeps most of it and passes the rest onto the proper government site.

scammers!!! received a letter advising I needed to renew my business name. Close reading tells you it is not ASIC. Googled them and found I was not the only one.
Put the letter where it belongs - in the shredder

These guys are scammers and don't trust them or pay them nothing. 0 out of 5

Total Scam. Letter sent to my daughter looking like it is an official business registration service, but it isnt. Do not pay these people anything.

We received a letter that we thought an official letter from government. But it is a scam. Business renewals should be done only via ASIC website.

These emails often have a link that provides an invoice with fake payment details or infects your computer with malware if you click the link. Do not click the link.

Scammers may contact you via email, text message, phone or website, all with the aim to deceive you.

Deceptive business trying to rick people to renew their business names.
They obviously harvest details from Services NSW, as I have never used the business name in anything, except the initial registration.

AVOID these SCAMMERS

I received a letter from this company offering to re-register my business name. Technically, the letter does disclose that it’s not actually from the official regulator (ASIC), however the style of the letter makes it look like an official request to pay, which it isn’t. Someone could easily be misled by this.

If I re-register through this business it costs a premium price and offers no advantage over re-registering through the official ASIC website.
