Bullion Exchanges Avis 

I like B.E's products and prices but some of us can only purchase when we have extra money, so charging shipping for orders under $499.00 makes me anyway, go to a dealer that appreciates my smaller orders and not penalize me for smaller orders. I've purchased a modest amount of metals but have to avoid B.E. unless my wallet is full. I hope they would reconsider and bump that 3 stars to 4-5.

Stay away... Seems they fall into the that area of Scammers. Bought many coins from them over the years. They charged NYS Sales Tax for;
2 - 2026 Regular 1 oz. Platinum Coins.
Checked Apmex, & JM Bullion for the same coin, no sales tax. Would not provide a refund. NYS Tax and Attorney General notified.

Ordered gold coins online and gave my account information for ACH. They called me and told me that they would not process my order via ACH and my only option was to send them a wire transfer immediately or they would cancel my orders and suspend my account. I was surprised by this but decided to do a wire anyway even though it was almost $14,000. Set up the transfer with my bank and then my bank called me and told me they could not verify the Bullion Exchanges account. My bank called Bank of Oklahoma directly and were told by Bank of Oklahoma that they were unable to verify the account. My Bank told me I would be extremely foolish to send money to an unverified account and that it was very high risk. I simply cannot risk that much money sending it to an unverified account. Bullion exchanges said the only thing they could do was to cancel my orders and suspend the account. Overall it was just a waste of my time and problems I don't need. I have bought over $200,000 worth of gold from JM Bullion and I think it is worth it to pay the extra money in premiums rather than risk doing business with people who are so rigid and inflexible. I really felt like their attitude was pay in cash up front or we're going to cancel your orders and permanently ban you from their site, we think you are a criminal. It really felt like a threat and raised issues in my mind that perhaps this was a high pressure scam of some sort. Also, if I have this many problems and rude attitudes just trying to pay for an order what happens if there are any other difficulties with the shipment? Does not bode well for their ability to resolve issues in a reasonable manner and in reading their reviews others have had trouble with them and state they are still waiting to get their money back. I did nothing wrong here and simply made an order in good faith on their website. They accepted my order and my payment method and all this came up later. Would not recommend doing business with this company.

The best price and customer service

I ordered a 1oz platinum bar through Walmart where bullion exchange is the provider..I never received my item when it said delivered by FedEx. When I called Walmart they said to give it 48 hours still nothing, when I called back Walmart they reached out to bullion exchange in an email. Days went by and no response. I reached out to Walmart again and they reached back out to bullion exchange.. days and days were going by since the initial call. I then followed up with FedEx because on tracking it said signed... when I asked for proof they sent me the signature and it was not my signature..they told me bullion exchange needs to fill out a claim.. I emailed bullion exchange and informed them about this and they didn't want to do it because as far as they are concerned it was signed for and delivered (again I did not sign the delivery package) then I had to call Walmart again and still waiting for what will happen.. I called FedEx again and they told me the shipper is supposed to file the claim but bullion exchange refused because again it was signed and they are clear.. FedEx asked what was in the package I told them I ordered platinum at the time valued at around almost 3k then FedEx tells me interesting enough that the package was insured for only 500 dollars . So bullion exchange does not want to help, FedEx is not doing anything while they have a driver forge signatures and I still don't have the package and FedEx is telling me case closed and I'm waiting on Walmart on what they will do... everyone is not helping.. bullion exchange doesn't care so be careful when you order from them because they won't help you and it's a bit shady they insure value on packages not fully so why would they help and they use FedEx which again someone at FedEx is running a scam by forge signatures and FedEx doesn't want to help... Be cautious using bullion exchange and FedEx... I'm still waiting to see if Walmart will help me..

A check I sent to Bullion Exchanges got lost in the mail. Their support representatives set up my payment via echeck to enable me to complete the purchase of my coin.

I've placed over a dozen orders here, and every time I feel like I got a good deal. Their packaging is top notch and secure. They have some unique products too. Example, I ordered some discounted 'random/cull/damaged/tarnished' silver eagles recently and they shipped a full roll of beautiful BU 2006 eagles, spotless.

Best place to buy and sell gold and silver. Always easy and friendly service. Highly recommended.

I ordered online on 1-1-26. Credit card was deducted to my account 1-2-26. Four phone calls later they only accept messages. Nobody phoned back. No emails. Is this a scam? Meanwhile my underlying purchase price has changed. I regret buying from these jokers.

... and then ... THREE MONTHS LATER ... they write me a reply saying my order doesn't match their records? Utter BS! I am not going to post a photo of my receipt from them. They literally received my credit card payment ... and after a long while I disputed it due to their non-response.

This company will not send your items to the correct address. Don't assume that by filling out your order form will be accepted. I have waited 12 days on a expensive order. Shipped FedEx. Secured No they just through it on a person's pourch. Now County, and State Police at work. Never deal with them.

Garbage company that sells you scratched up coins and will not allow you to return them. Shop elsewhere to avoid a problem.

Acquired some silver American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, and Australian Kangaroo. Online experience was fine. Website easy to use. I received nice clean coins from Bullion Exchange which was greatly appreciated. Check clearing process does take some, but this isn't the fault of Bullion Exchange, but rather how checks are cleared. Will do business with them in future.

It is my opinion that the company's Customer Service Department is incompetent. Please research other companies for purchases within the metals sector--there are a lot of them that will respect your intelligence.

I have ordered a lot from BE and have had very good experience in general. This all changed when I ordered some junk silver dimes. I got a batch that included some really thin mercury dimes. Brought the dimes in question to a reputable local coin shop to get their opinion. They said they would have sent them to be melted straight away. I submitted a complaint to BE customer service and sent pictures for them to review. They claimed they were fine just by looking at the pictures...end of story. I will not buy their "junk" products again. Very disappointed.

Ordered a Gold Eagle. When delivered it had a scratch across the front of the (BU) coin. Customer Service was absolutely horrible. One of the owners called me and totally lost his temper. Yelling at me that I did not understand coin grading. Buy elsewhere.
