I would not recommend Burgh Thorpe…

I would not recommend Burgh Thorpe Solicitors for conveyancing. Communication was slow and unclear, and important issues such as source of funds checks were raised very late in the process after I had already provided extensive documentation. The whole experience caused unnecessary stress during my property purchase. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. As a regulated law firm, we are required to carry out strict anti-money laundering and source of funds checks, and we must be satisfied that these regulatory requirements are met before we can continue to act.

On occasion, where the necessary level of verification cannot be achieved, we may have to make the difficult decision to cease acting. This does not imply any wrongdoing on the part of a client, but reflects the professional obligations we must follow as solicitors.

Wonderful experience…

What an absolutely wonderful experience we had with Burgh. Jade and Jolita took care of our home move, they were absolutely wonderful to deal with and they are assets to the company. Fast responses, professional, expert advice and updated along the way via the app.. I would not hesitate to use Burgh Thorpe again and have recommended to family and friends. Thank you..!

Burgh-Thorpe Solicitors handled the conveyancing for our recent house purchase, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We were moving back to the UK from overseas, which added extra layers of complexity, and there were also a number of delays and issues on the seller’s side. Throughout all of this, Burgh-Thorpe were calm, professional and incredibly supportive.

Their communication was excellent: clear, friendly and prompt. We always felt we knew what was happening, what the next steps were, and why things were taking the time they did. Whenever we needed reassurance or had a question, someone was available to help and took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense.

Despite the complications, they made the process feel as straightforward and stress-free as possible. We felt genuinely looked after rather than just another file on the desk.

We’re very grateful for their hard work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Burgh-Thorpe Solicitors to anyone needing conveyancing, especially if your situation is a bit more complicated than average.

Exceptionally Unique Professional Services

During the last 40 years, I have dealt with many solicitors all over the country. But my recent experience with Conveyancing Department is exceptional and unique. Without prejudice, my experience with them can not be matched with any other law firms which I have dealt with. They are highly professional, committal, honest and punctual. They strive to ensure customers satisfaction. I thank each and everyone I have interacted with throughout our recent purchase of a property. Suffice to say, I will endeavour to share my experience with all my contacts and connections.

So easy to deal with

So easy to deal with, everything is online to follow progress, and just an email or call away if further help is needed.
We were buying a property; everyone we dealt with was friendly and keen to help. I'd definitely use them again.
