One star because you can't give 0 stars. I have used them in the past with good luck but not this time. 3 of the 10 fruit trees I ordered died, so I reached out only to be informed I was past the 30 day window for the gaurentee. At 30 days, the trees weren't even dead yet. So, no guarantee and no replacement and not even a thank you for giving them my money so they could send me some substandard trees.
These were interspecific plum trees originally from Dave Wilson Nusery in Ca. I asked the rude person on the phone if I could just get replacement trees next year, they said no. I also asked if DWN warreties the trees and got no answer.
So now I will have to buy more trees (theses are varieties I wanted) next year thereby doubling or more the cost of the trees and loosing the year.
My advice, stick with quality nuserys that will at least replace the tree. It makes me wonder why they have this policy? Too many claims?

This company doesn't care how their products arrive. They pack them with complete disregard to their survival. Order nearly $800 and hope they pack them well and instead they arrive nearly dead. very little to keep them hydrated. So many were incredibly stressed and what we have is simply either dead sticks or ones that are going to struggle for years. The customer service is incredibly poor. Don't order from them there are plenty of good nursery stores. This one isn't one of them.

Ordered TWO plants, two are required for cross pollination and the trees were supposed to be 3ft high. I don't know how you can be "sold out" and only have ONE tree left. I have one "tree" about six inches high and was charged 24 dollars for shipping.

I will not do business with them again.

$48 for a 6 inch tall, toothpick thin Jujube with the top 3 inches dead. So much of the order ($700) was dead, damaged or undersized that it is clear that it wasn't a mistake. It's easy to see whether a tree is dead or damaged by looking at the bark; I knew at first site and nursery people have more experience than me. It was a rough winter for nurseries and this nursery decided to pass their losses to their customers. The plants should have never left their nursery, I shouldn't have to ask for refunds.

Over half of the 20 siberian peashrubs are dead (many others more than half dead), was super easy to tell they were at a glance, they were black, shriveled with white (mold?). 3 of 4 mulberries had problems ($32 each). One mulberry had all the buds dead and the top third dead with some cambium layer damage top to bottom. Another mulberry had poor graft reception, it may heal but it may not; customer assumes risk (don't send out bad grafts). Another mulberry was undersized for a "gallon grown" mulberry. The common Li jujube was 6 inches tall and half dead; I could purchase one in most big box stores for about the same price but that is 4-6ft tall. One plant was missing. Some plants were in perfect shape and took off right away, unfortunately it was less than half of my order. They refunded me $20 for the jujube (should have been a full refund) and for the missing plant.

Are they on the verge of going out of business or are they just greedy? The old man (owner?) seems nice but maybe he has a lot of family members that don't care about plants and just want to maximize profit. The emails were unfriendly, uncaring and late coming. If you order, order what you can't get anywhere else and order 3-4 plants at a time so you don't take a big loss.
