The dimmer module has intelligent load matching to enhance compatibility, while minimising noise and flicker. It can be used on a lighting circuit that powers dimmable LED, low voltage bulbs, LED drivers, and it is optimised for use with all Buster + Punch dimmable light bulbs. The dimmer module has a max load of 250W for LED and 300W halogen or incandescent light sources. This dimmer module is not a 0-10V dimmer and is not compatible with retractive switches, non-dimmable LED lamps, fluorescent and energy-saving bulbs and tubes, electric motors, and fans. Fit this dimmer as the only switch on a single-pole circuit. Or, to control your lighting from two locations on the same circuit, use this dimmer switch and one 3-way on/off switch. To control from more than two locations, contact us for details. Note: rotary action is smooth and silent during operation.

Is way too loose - feels pretty cheap. I was expecting a much more premium dimmer for the money.

This seems to be an improved dimmer module. The old ones as I'venoted in previous reviews are terrible. You practically have to smash them to get them to turn on This one still suffers from the issue of a long delay between actuating the button and when the light turns on. I don't understand why this issue exists,the cheapest poorest quality dimmer module at your local hardware easily turns a light on when pressed where this very expensive unit can't seem to do it. B&Ps solution is that the units work best with their fixtures. That doesn't seem like a practical response

Its no different than a similar dimmer not fond if the delay when turning off or on either

Easy to install. Looks great and operates nicely. Had a little bit of trouble correcting a phase setting. Technical support provided by Max quickly solved the problem.
