These people are deceiving and fooling customers! I had an extremely unsatisfactory and troubling experience with Cablewise IT Solutions Ltd. I contracted them solely for labour to install 4 CCTV cameras on my residential property, providing all materials myself. We agreed on a flat rate of £425 for a full day’s labour. On the scheduled day, their technician — who spoke no English whatsoever — completed only half the work and left. I contacted the company immediately, and they claimed that an additional day was required to complete the installation, demanding an extra £250, despite no change to the agreed scope of work. I refused the extra charge. The company then agreed to complete the installation the following day without the additional labour charge but insisted I pay for extra materials used, which I accepted. Their technician returned the next day and completed the remaining work. I was pressured into making an immediate payment via bank transfer, with no opportunity to properly inspect the work. Upon inspection the next day, the quality of installation was grossly substandard: Cables were poorly and untidily installed, Cameras were not securely fixed to the walls, Cables were left fully exposed, contrary to my explicit instructions. Within a next several days (maybe weeks or so), two of the four cameras detached from the wall, pulling the cables down with them. I contacted the company and provided photographic evidence. They replied only to say that they would conduct an “internal investigation” then ceased all communication entirely. Cablewise IT Solutions Ltd has demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, negligent workmanship, and a deliberate evasion of responsibility. I strongly advise against engaging this company for any technical or installation services.

The two engineers who came to put in an extra CAT6 cable from 2nd to 1st floor were very professional and they went to extra mile to look after the aesthetic of the job having to route it in parallel with the existing cables. Happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them. They also cleared up and hoovered the place.
