Doggy dog Avis 46

I have given these to my anxious cockapoo puppy since February and I honestly can't tell whether they are doing anything for her yet. She absolutely loves them though !! Some days I think she is calmer, I am giving her 6 a day, she weighs about 13k. But she still has terrible separation anxiety.Some days I can't even leave her for 3 minutes.
One other point, this product is very very expensive and the packs now weigh 30g,in February the packs were 40g......why ????

After four months a good improvement in an over anxious dog making him less anxious.

Really can’t confirm if these are making any improvement or not after 3 packs. Pup is far from calm and I’m unlikely to buy any more.

They didn’t seem to calm her down at all

They really seem to have calmed my Welsh terrier cross. He still goes insane when he goes out. He hates other dogs because he's never socialised with them. He's a rescue dog. He's lovely with people just very excitable. I'll persevere with it though.

My dog hated them. He would eat everything in his bowl except the treat. I kept trying but he hates them. Calm Canis won’t refund the remaining packs because I had them more than 30 days! I mean, I was trying to get him to eat them. So, now I have several useless packs of chews.

Seems to be working for my dog in the long run, haven’t noticed any massive digestive issues

I recommend it. I didn't expect a miracle, so I got exactly what I wanted, a calmer dog. It just took some time, maybe after a good month I could see the result. I recommend to try, be patient and don't expect someone to wave a magic wand and all the problems will disappear.

IT WORKS. Was so sceptical, cuz we tried CBD oils and stuff and had no effect. Bruno is 20kg mix dog, gave him 6 pieces a day, he woke up totally different on a 3rd day. Slower thinking, less reactive, just chill dog taking time to think instead of reacting right away. The supplement did not take his interest in food, plays, exploration, smells and joy of work (doing tasks) - his mental state was simply more focused and less youngster crazy style.

Bruno is a super vocal dog that reacts to new people with fear, to dogs cuz wants to play, gets too excited in the car and starts howling, has difficulty to stay home alone (and we are working on these constantly with lots of trainer help daily for 8months now). And we have progressed really slowly and are happy for every achievement. But have never had such great effect of simple and innocent 6 pieces of treats that are all natural <3 really really amazing

BUT
we had diarrhea since day 1 :/ was blaming river water at first, but after a while when the dog was still feeling sick and all the other possible triggers were taken out (other treat foods, supplements like fish oil) we also went to the vet to find out if there is something wrong. Everything is fine with health overall.

Would love to know what specifically triggers the diarrhea and keep on using the treats without that component, cuz it was a turn over in our lives.

My dog has had Diarrhoea every day since taking these, had to stop giving them, real shame I had such hopes as they are expensive

I had such high hopes for these after reading the reviews but sadly my dog wouldn’t touch them, which is extremely annoying as they are not cheap, would be great if they sold small sample bags to see if your dog likes them first and so whilst I cannot comment on whether they work or not , it doesn’t mean they won’t work for anyone else’s dog

Poor communication, delayed delivery

I was very sceptical about these. As a highly qualified behaviourist, my scientific mind got in the way. My very young dog had been traumatised by a digger and then a building site turning up outside our home, and building back her confidence was proving very challenging. I decided to add these chews into the mix, and was about to give up on them after about 4 weeks, but just as I was about to, something snapped into place, and we had our first relaxed walked along the lane. A few days later another successful walk. Combined with games based training and counter conditioning, I'm now seeing sustained improvements. She has been on the chews a good 6 weeks now, and is coping with what would have been very challenging situations. This morning a white van (usually builders) was parked at the end of the footpath, it was opened up, boxes, wires, things being moved around an a vacuum cleaner going. My initial thought was "oh hell". Surprise surprise, she totally ignored it and just happily walked by, whilst the van owner apologised for being so in the way. I was absolutely cock a hoop, and couldn't believe I was saying "no worries" rather than wondering how the heck I was going to get back to the house. I am now recommending these to owners who are struggling with pessimistic dogs. They clearly do work for certain situations, but am not sure the range of uses as of yet, so am wanting to learn lots more. With regards my girl. I am well pleased.

Delivery was a little bit late but I did get an apology and explanation. The treats have arrived now, my dog loves them I think they help her anxiety a bit.

They haven't made any difference to my dog's behaviour.

Great service from the company, my dog finds the treats tasty, but they have had zero discernible effect on her behaviour. She’s a small dog and I’ve tried 2-3 spaced out or all ltogether alongside positive reinforcement training for separation anxiety and I’ve noticed no difference in her responses whether she has or hasn’t had the treats that day. I’ll keep trying through the rest of my order but so far nothing noticeable, I’m afraid.
