Currently a 2*, and only just, because whilst the books are good quality, they’ve shrunk them to 21cm which would be fine but they didn’t shrink the images to accommodate the new sizing so lettering is off the page, which is a shame and ruins the aesthetic.

Ordered the glitter pens, some of them had bubbles in the ink cartridge so didn’t work, and multiple pens had cracked/ broken lids - they did replace them with a set that was much better, so that was lovely but they do run out quickly..

Don’t invest in the dual pens, the thin side is way to thin and the ink doesn’t flow, plus 2 of these pens in the set also didn’t work - again reported and swatch video sent - I got a 10% off voucher. Not a lot when you consider delivery prices..

Then ordered the new 30 brush pen set after having the older set (which was fab!) and I am so disappointed. The consistency of the ink flowing varies from pen to pen with some being so so dry and patchy. I’ve emailed multiple times to Eve - support@calmoverchaos - and after telling me to dip the end of the brush in a little bit of water - I’ve heard nothing. No, the trick didn’t work.

To be honest, I ordered 3 more books most recently, and with the inconsistent ink in the pens, lack of adjusting the size of designs to fit the new booklet sizes, lack of communication, and paying for next day delivery (£7.99) - which wasn’t the case, it took three days - I will think again before ordering and will say so to others I have previously recommended.

It absolutely sucks as I’ve used the company for years, getting gifts from them at Christmas etc, but since expanding the business, quality and communication seems to be falling behind/no longer a priority 🥺

You can get just as good pens and 12x12 books from places like the range and using BIC intensity pens. I hope to one day retract this and see the company become once again, what it used to be..

After raving about Calm Over Chaos products from their promotions, I was given the Let’s Be Better Humans colouring book and a set of brush pens for Christmas. Unfortunately the orange pen ran out after a couple of minutes and the pink pen did not work at all!
We contacted Calm Over Chaos to report the issue and because the pack of pens had been discontinued, they offered either a partial refund or a discount voucher to buy one of their other pen sets.
I wasn’t happy with this as expected to have a full set of working pens as described without spending additional money. It was cheeky of Calm Over Chaos to presume I’d want to purchase again considering I wasn’t happy with the first order! So we said that if they couldn’t replace the original pens then they should replace with a similar set free of charge. They refused.
I’m upset and disappointed that my Christmas gift is sub standard, and that I can’t enjoy using all of the colours as expected. Calm Over Chaos customer service has been rubbish, I wouldn’t recommend - if something goes wrong they don’t care!

Requested their water-based brush pens and glitter brush pens as Xmas presents and I am obsessed! It is definitely a bit of a learning curve to use them in the best way but they are wonderful. The most giddy I have been about a Christmas present since I was a child. Thank you, thank you!

The glitter pens are lovely, really sparkly and vibrant. I have marked down though as the yellow Leo colour has run out of ink already, so I assume the other colours will too. For £13.99 a pack and then postage on top it's disappointing that the pens don't last. They really are lovely pens but I won't buy again because of the shortness of life. I only opened the pack 2 days ago and have not used for large areas.

I received the Constellation Glitter Pens for christmas. They're really sparkly, smooth and vivid - very satisfying to use. I did recieve two Virgos (greeny-yellow) and no Leo (the warmer yellow), but luckily I love the colour!

I do agree with other reviews that it can sometimes be hard to tell the colours apart, and that the lids can be fiddly, BUT the quality of the actual pen tips and ink is better than any other glitter pens I've ever used. Overall I'm incredibly happy with them - they make colouring-in an absolute dream!

I’ve increased my rating because although I found the pens not very glittery, now I have been using them they are a joy to use. They are very pigmented and the fact they are so blendable is a bonus. They don’t leave streaks but blend really well. There is also no smell. So if you don’t mind about the glitter, go for it! Also be aware the books are quite small

I was very impressed with these brush pens initially -the colours are lovely and they feel nice to use at first. Unfortunately, they just don’t last.

I’ve owned them for a few months now and have only used them occasionally (maybe half a dozen sessions in total), always replacing the lid firmly to ensure they don't dry out; yet several are already running out. For pens at this price point, that’s really disappointing.

They also don’t blend as well as advertised. I followed Calm Over Chaos’s own tutorial videos exactly, but the blending is patchy and nowhere near as smooth as shown.

For the cost, I expected much better longevity and performance. Next time I’ll probably stick with fairly average alcohol markers rather than bothering with brush pens at all.

It’s also worth noting that Calm Over Chaos delete honest, factual critical comments from their social media posts, which doesn’t inspire confidence.

It’s been a while since I’ve ordered anything for myself from this small business. Recently I’ve been needing to practice self care so decided to jump into colouring again after hitting a reading slump. This time I ordered the magic bleed proof edition of Becoming My Best Self, constellation pens and 24 markers. My order arrived within 48 hours of ordering and I’m very happy with my purchase. The constellation pens are gorgeous, they shine like diamonds and I’m in love. I’ve got a temperamental yellow glitter pen but these things happen and I can still use it. Not worth complaining about as you can get dud pens from any business you buy from. The paper in this edition really is bleed proof and paper is an excellent quality. Pricey yes but as with a lot of places that use ethical and sustainable products this is expected. The paper is thick and the pens glide beautifully on the pages. The books are illustrated by the founder of calm over chaos and she has worked hard looking for new ways to improve her business and source planet friendly products. This is my first bleed proof edition and obviously overall I’m impressed. The messages in these books are so heartfelt and reflective and can become your best friend. There are some quotes in the books that sometimes you just need to hear to help get you through the day and they’re just beautiful.

What a beautiful business....I ordered some glitter pens and they were posted out immediately but when they got to me the envelope had been slit open and was empty. The company immediately sent me another set and I was so grateful. The pens are gorgeous but the ethos behind this business is very special, lovely people, lovely products....we need more businesses like this. They deserve the moon (a beautifully coloured glittery one). Thank you.

amazing products the glitter pens are the best ever on the market so glittery and sparklie and so smooth when your writing and colouring with them and their colouring books are designed and hand drawn by the owner you can tell how much thought and love are poured in to each book and product and they also care so much about their customers! 11/10 totally recommend this company and their products. They have released new blending pens in skin tone colours rainbow and pastels all are top quality aswell i can't stress how amazing the products and how amazing millie and the team are

Not been so impressed with a purchase in a long time

Wish I could give more stars, that’s how much I love this company. I’ve never before found a stationary business I was happy to spend my money on, since price/quality was never worth it. But since COC, I haven’t even looked elsewhere. These glitter pens, my goodness, just amazing. And the brush pens? Never had such creamy rich colors before. I’m even in love with the alcohol markers and their unique bleed proof paper ❤️ I will keep spending my money here and will recommend them wherever I can! Thanks Millie, Rob & Eve

Buisness allows members to be treated badly by their own community to he sworn st to he treated badly and yhey allow their community to get away with this and people still waiting on dispatch emails 2 weeks after the Christmas box supposed delivery date yet people are still waiting on their dispatch emails
Don't dare try end raise w concern or complaint on their social media pages as it gets deleted and if you try to do it in the community group you will just get suspended for being truthful and real not how I would expect things to be dealt with as surely you would want the good reviews and the bad reviews so people can see how you deal with the bad side and how you fix it but to delete thst side if it doesn't feel right so only way is to do it here
Please be careful if you have anything thst isn't a 5⭐️ review your stuff gets deleted from thr page so people can't see there has been an issue how it will be dealt with and accountability being taken to rectify them so people cannot get an honest two sided reviw if calm over chaos so disappointed I even had to be writing this I had tried to see the good but to have all of the non 5⭐️ beinf deleted has made me very wary and cautious now as I know other genuine buisnesses have allowed thr negative feedback to learn and grow geom it but it seems calm over chaos do not seem to allow any negative feedback on thr page so no way to learn you have an issue, to grow from it,to correct it and to learn from it to get better as a business only the good 1 sided stays

The brush pens are poor quality - spend your money elsewhere!!

I received a pack of pens with one of the shades totally dried out….i contacted customer services to ask for a replacement pen to be sent out to me. They asked for proof which I sent, they then said they aren’t able to send out individual pens so would refund me…..but I would only receive the refund AFTER I had sent the pack of pens back via TRACKED SHIPPING AT MY OWN EXPENSE.

How is this reasonable?!

I've ordered so much from these in the past month an I honestly don't know where these negative reviews come from. She stated she had an issue with her pens that she then put on sale ( I have about 10 packs of both the 24 an skin tone shades) an they're fantastic pens, no issues with mine yet, also got the glitter pens that arrived the other day an there great too. Delivery was quick an my books are awesome quality too 👏 I will be repurchasein, I want to get the Christmas bundle next ☺️ really been enjoying the butter the mouse book too, can't wait read it to my son once he's out the newborn faze 🥰 so thanks for makeing these available I've never had so much fun colouring!

This website has changed my life I have suffered from severe mental health problems for many years I've always enjoyed colouring but I found most colouring books are not very good quality what makes these products so special are the sayings and the positive affirmations would definitely recommend
