We just needed some clear advice and information regarding a slightly complex financial/legal situation involving our mother and ex-partner and had just had a rather disappointing experience with a law firm. So Huw was a breath of fresh air. After a few months of ultimately useless legal back and forth Huw managed to create a clear understanding of which parts of the problem needed to be dealt with urgently, and what we could expect to be problematic going forward - all in the space of a one hour discussion. In a world of uncommitted corporate waffle, Huw's one to one advice was direct, to the point and clear. Based on our brief but highly informative hour we cannot recommend Huw highly enough and will be returning for further advice after the initital legal issue is resolved.

Huw was first recommended to me approximately 18 months ago, when i had been notified of redundancy and was needing to relocate. It was a worrying time as I was approaching, but not ready, for retirement.
From our first conversation it was evident that his advice was personal and specific to our situation and without his guidance and help with our mortgage, pension transfer, investments and general advice on how to make money work for us, I’m not sure if we would be in the position we are in now, feeling confident as we move forward to retirement.

Huw Tipton is an absolute legend. If it weren’t for Huw, Gary, and their team, there is no way we would have been able to buy our flat. Huw likes to say that he treats his clients as though they were his own family; I initially took this with a certain degree of skepticism, but have through my experience found it to be 100% true.

My girlfriend and I were purchasing a flat together and we faced a number of challenges in obtaining a mortgage because we are both self-employed from the perspective of a lender (I have a limited company, but as the director am counted as self-employed for the purpose of a mortgage). We both earn a decent living, so were shocked at how difficult the process was just because we are self-employed.

Despite all of the challenges and hurdles, Huw was an absolute champion. When one door closed, he kicked open three more, always approaching each new challenge with the creativity necessary to solve the problem at hand. In the end, he and his team managed to find us a loan with a lender I would never even have known existed.
