This is our very first full awning, so we were amazed by the amount of space this provides. The fabric and poles of the Atlantis DL are very heavy and fortunately all sides and front zip out making the erection easier. This is not a touring awning, but the solid build with extra poles as bought has stood up strongly in Snowdonia since 6th March through a 35mph and two 40+mph storms this month. Due to the slope across our pitch we had to use our many years of awning and frame tent skills to get the roof fall and alignment correct, and as the front has to be lower than it is designed to be. However, the hinged centre and corner joints have allowed that flexibility so it is taught and sturdy whilst rainwater flows off as it needs to. In spite of immaculate packing, there were some damaged poles but these were promptly replaced with couple of missing parts on the extra poles. Its clear that Camptech are introducing some changes and innovations to improve their designs ...some work and others like the front parallel gutter only work in our experience if taken off, otherwise all that happens is you get all the rainwater directed to the front corners and if you have the doors there you get drenched in rain. Although floppy for us it works better without the channel, which is not something we had on other awnings or tents anyhow. The rafter pole extensions we are used to would work better and provide greater flexibility. We resolved the floppy edge by adding 3 tarpaulin clips and guy ropes across the front to stretch out the flap.
In summary, it is good effective and solid awning and great value, with lots of windows with external shutters and strong 2 way zips everywhere, so as weather warms you can control light and ventilation easily.

We erected our awning in our garden as a first step. We were impressed with the quality of the materials and the workmanship of the awning.
We were surprised at the weight of the delivered package and eventually the weight of the awning alone. The brochure states the weight as approximately 18kg which we had likened to a holiday suitcase, It took two of us to carry the awning bag into the garden and felt like at least two suitcases!
After inflating the awning, we were able to fully appreciate the quality which no doubt added to its weight. We have removed the three zip out panels and bagged them separately to make the awning more manageable. We can now carry the two awning bags which are still heavy.

We looked around for an awning as we were putting our caravan on a seasonal pitch. We came across Camptech Awnings at Preston Caravans and Motorhomes where they had different models to assess. The member of staff was very knowledgeable about Camptech and answered all our questions. We erected it last weekend and found it to be perfect. The instructions were very clear and easy to use, every little thing has been thought about and designed to make it very durable but simple as well, Wish I found these years ago

We purchased our first Camptech seasonal awning "Atlantis DL" 5 years ago and it was erected all year round and it has withstood everything that 9 storms has thrown at it. We have now downsized to a Camptech "Count DL" and have no problems in recommending CAMPTECH. An excellent product at an excellent price.

Great deal at Glasgow show in February for Kensington awning and accessories. Awning looked ideal for our needs for longer trips. Items received well packaged but not yet used as first trip not until April and weather hasn't allowed us to put it up on driveway yet.

Just purchased the camptech savannah DL, had good instructions, easy to follow of where the poles went, took two people to erect but no problems putting up
