I've not considered testing any of my border collies until my 5 yr old competition dog was diagnosed in May with PRA. Though he does not have the PRA gene that is currently covered. I hope the mutate... Voir plus

Used canine once before and was satisfied. Used again for two puppies and received results in 10 days! Amazing how quick I got my results very happy. Easy to read and understand which is a huge plus.... Voir plus

The results are unclear
The results are unclear. I see “At Risk”, but when I go to see if carrier or affected I don’t know which it is. Affected means no breeding, while carrier means can be bred to a normal/clear mate.
Sort of confusing…

Very comprehensive test for your $$
Love that CHC includes intensity testing in their package. Also, that they give merle base pair numbers. Just an overall, comprehensive package of tests for a very reasonable price.

turnaround time and had to pay 48.00 extra for coco
the time it takes to get results was over 2 weeks and the fact that the coco was not included delayed my process even more i still have not received that even though i paid the extra as soon as i found out and also was told they put an expedite on it for me. service is too slow ... other than than gives lots of info but dont know if i would use again.

Thank you for your review. You are correct that the Cocoa coat color is not currently on the Canine HealthCheck. Your CHC kits were received by the laboratory on Nov 5 and reported on Nov 19, which is 14 days from sample receipt. Your Cocoa test was ordered on Nov 16th from Paw Print Genetics and was reported on Nov 19th, 3 days after the order was placed. Cocoa testing usually takes 14 days or less, but we did expedite the testing for you and reported 3 days later. We try very hard to meet our customers expectations while providing the highest quality service with the highest accuracy possible. We hope that you will continue to work with us, as we value all of our clients. Thank you.

Great service!
This company was easy to work with, best value for dollar on genetic health testing and I loved getting confirmation that my kit was received by them and I got results within the 2 weeks promised by the company!
