My visit started like a sitcom, but sadly without the laugh track.
It was 09:23 a.m the automatic doors did not open and a staff hurriedly attended to engage the override button.
My driving licence was requisitioned and after mild protestation, I was assured it was for test drive purposes, and my data would be wiped off their system.
First act: trade-in valuation. They offered me an amount so far below market I briefly wondered if they’d confused my car with a lawnmower. I declined—politely, like a person declining jail time.
Scene change to the “client processing” area: eight desks in a spacious yet tightly packed area where everyone knows your name and your business, whether you want them to or not. It was intimate in the way a packed subway is intimate—phones ringing, loud conversations, and my salesperson trying to talk over a chorus of background noise.
The car (worth £17,000) was at another site, so I enjoyed a 20-minute suspense thriller waiting for it to arrive. Test drive: pleasant. Salesperson: charming. Add-ons: offered. Me: declined. Cue the manager, summoned like a plot twist who insisted on a second attempt to change my mind. I said no again; the manager exited, defeated.
Payment time: I was passed to the “vehicle docs” team…who were apparently on a coffee break in Narnia. After a five-minute hunt, a chap appeared, completed the V5, then trotted off to fetch a folder and came back empty-handed—apparently they’d run out of folders. I told him not to bother; I wasn’t planning on framing the paperwork as modern art. It would, however, have been nice to put evidence of my purchase in the file - Branding opportunity lost perhaps.
I paid for delivery at 11:00 and was promised the car by 19:30. At 17:00 I called for an update and was assured I’d get a call 30 minutes before arrival. At 20:30, I called again and was promised a call within five minutes. As I write this, the car remains as elusive as a unicorn on a motorway.
Bottom line: lovely salespeople, chaotic operations, and communication skills that would make smoke signals feel efficient. Would I recommend them? Only if you enjoy suspense, improv theatre, and the occasional paperless folder mystery.

Had a very good experience at Car Planet - Watford. Took the car for a test drive and loved it. Tiffany was very lovely, helpful and patient, she kept in touch with me and held the car for me while I waited for my Insurance payout to hit my account. Only a slight issue. On collection, there didn't seem to be enough staff working for the amount of people waiting to collect their vehicle. Had to wait an hour and 20 minutes to be seen even though we had a pre booked appointment. Overall a very happy experience. Would recommend.

Bought my car from these guys and vey happy with the car as well the whole experience. Mo Eka was amazing in every aspect of the experience. Mash was also great in following up to make sure that I was happy with the car.

My advice would be anything they say they will do, have it in writing before you leave as you will get no help or response once you leave.

Went to see car. Told it was in storage and would take 20 mins to arrive. 45 minutes later the wrong car turned up. didn't have another 45 mins to waste so had to return the following day. Not ideal.
Purchased the car. On collection, it wasn't ready. was told is was being cleaned while we do the paperwork. initial paperwork was OK, but the registration of the car with dvla and taxing it took ages. One person doing the registrations for the whole place. Had to wait another hour for all this to happen. Then to be told my car was still being cleaned. When I finally got to sit in my new car, it was still very dirty inside and none of the windows has been cleaned on the inside and I had to spend 10 minutes trying to get some chocolate off the steering wheel. after leaving I also found that they hadn't given me the information or codes I needed to set up in car systems. I've now got to wait for my V5 to arrive and then take the car to a main audi dealer. Surely this isn't how is supposed to be when dealing with a company.
2 days later I received a call from their follow team to check on my experience. After raising my concerns with the poor service I was told that they would compensate me for the poor experience if I didn't put a bad review. They were going to pay me £30 for the poor performance and dirty car. Well I didn't get my compensation. So here is my review. I'm sure the follow up team will be giving me another call no doubt.

Pleased with my experience. The car was delivered promptly and in great condition — exactly as described. It drives beautifully, the service history is comprehensive and all the necessary documents were provided without any issues.
