I really wish I had read these other reviews first. Perhaps I can save someone else. Don't order. Don't trust them to do the right thing. I ordered a $95 shirt that I had my eye one for a while. Finally decided to pull the trigger. Got it, washed it....and out of the wash, it will never ever get close to looking like the photos. No amount of ironing will ever accomplish it. Return policy says only unwashed items. I sent it back anyway...there's no way to know the quality until it's been washed. They sent it back to me and refused the return. Even put in their notes "covered with hair." Customer service will do nothing about it. I'm stuck. Tempted to file a complaint with my credit card, but by the terms of the order Carbon is "correct" in refusing the return.

Poor quality. Colors fade after first wash cold water

Bought a jacket for my husband for Christmas. We live in the Northeast and the jacket seemed acceptable for just going from car to location. Not expected to use for extended time outdoors. For $169 ("on sale") I guess my expectations were way too high. It's a glorified windbreaker! Will not be purchasing anything else from them.

When chatlines are open it would be good to have available representatives like advertised. No response ever.
And considering my investment I realize this company is not worth anyone's time or money.

Cannot make a return. Customer service won’t reply. You’re stuck with whatever crap you order. Shirt looks like a towel.

I called them six months ago to tell them they are sending mail to my home address to a deceased person, and asked them not to send us any more mail. I was assured that would happen. Now they are still sending catalogs to the deceased person AND I’m getting mail in my name from what appears to be a sister company/affiliate (32 Bar Blues). Make the junk mail stop! I have never done business with these people and don’t want to.

Way overpriced! Fabrics they use shrink easily when washed so upsize in shirts. Buttons are crap. I spent 800$ on 6 items and I could’ve gotten way more at a local store with better quality, convenient returns, and better customer service.

I ordered - stealth wealth soap coins. The item on page 16 described six, 6 ounce soap coins. I received 6 one ounce soap coins; just a little bigger than a necco wafer! How are you to wash with this? No one is answering the company phone. This has been in a couple catalogs, the same wording. I want to return the order. If the company needs a proof reader, I'm available !

I’ve seen C2C has had some poor reviews and wanted to leave a very fair and honest review of my own. Here’s my experience: My order arrived two days early. I ordered the winterberry plaid shirt and cocoon coatigan, both size small. I am happy with both items. They both fit well with quality fabric, which lays nicely. Not too stiff, nor too flimsy. The plaid shirt could stand to be a bit longer, because it is cotton and will shrink, and I can already tell that a medium would be too large for me. But it fits just fine and is nice and soft. I’ll have to hang dry so it doesn’t shrink. The buttons, particularly on the sweater, are rather thin and could easily break when washed, but that’s my only real complaint. I do think, given what C2C charges for their clothing that they should invest on thicker, more durable buttons. I’m wearing the sweater now and it’s cozy and soft. I’m sure I’ll get much use of it this winter. I would order from them again, but would like to see their customer reviews change for the better, especially with regard to their return policy, although I do not have any experience doing exchanges or returns with this company at this time. Overall I am very satisfied with my order!

Sizes are inconsistent; return policy and refund calculation are convoluted.

My first order was for one shirt, size small: it fit perfectly, so I ordered one more of the same shirt. My subsequent order was for two shirts, both size small: one was at least one size too large and the other was 2-3 sizes too large. Returning the improperly-sized shirts cost me the initial exorbitant shipping cost of $17.95 plus a return shipping fee of $7.95, so in effect, I paid over $25 just to try on 2 shirts from a company that is based about a mile from my home.

On the plus side: items appear to be of high quality, and customer service is responsive (when I expressed concern about how my refund was calculated, I was reimbursed the $7.95 return shipping fee); hence, the 3 stars.

Because I don't want to deal with any more problematic potential returns to Carbon2Cobalt, however, I will not be a repeat customer.

Carbon2Cobalt has a wonderful line of clothing for both men and women. They are quick to ship and well-packaged. And they frequently have very tempting sales.
