VeloElite Carbon Wheels Avis 

I loved these wheels so much…I have three sets!!
Back in 2018, bought the 38mm deep rim hoops with DT Swiss 240 hubs. The wheels have performed well in wet and dry conditions , both on flat fast roads and mountain climbs (including the descents). I have been impressed with the build quality and the performance of these wheels , that I have added a set of wheels for Cross and a Set for TT. The wheels have a super roll , which run true and fast. The wheels are easy to set up for tubeless tyres and they ensure a positive ride. The rear hub free wheel “sings” and the hoops look amazing on any bike! Compared to similar quality these wheels represent tremendous value for money with the added benefit of local excellent customer service and the personal advice , which Tom offers, to ensure the wheels you meet your requirements . Fantastic wheels. As a larger rider I need to know my wheels are up to the task. Tom tailors each build to the rider so I'm 100% confident in them. They're so good I now have two pairs, rim brake extra wide rims on my road bike and the disk brake version on my gravel bike. Both are smooth, fast, sturdy and light. Set up tubeless they've also transformed the ride quality of what was a particularly stiff and uncomfortable Aero race bike making it a much nicer proposition to ride long distance. I love em'!!

I have owned a pair of these wheels since mid 2019. I have raced and trained on them in all conditions and they have been nothing but faultless. The wheels are hand built specifically to the rider, so they offer much better performance than your standard out the box alternatives at the same price point

I own 2 sets of these wheels, 1 for rim and 1 for disc brakes. Both set preform impeccably, they are so smooth and fast.

Fitted with DT Swiss hubs, these wheel sets are outstanding value for money, and extremely robust, the build quality is second to none.

The attention to detail that Tom goes into can not be faulted.

I have 2 pairs of brilliant VeloElite Wheels. My training bike has a set of 38mm with Dt swiss 350 hubs, they are bullet proof and used in all conditions. I also bought a set of 50mm in a gloss finish on DT swiss 180 for my best bike, they are super light and aero. Both sets hand built to suit me and at same sort of a price you would get lower spec mass made with other brands. Can't recommend enough!

Quite simply the best bike purchase I’ve ever made.

An upgrade to the Time Trial bike, looking for deep set carbon wheels. I discussed with owner Tom around best wheels for my weight and he recommended a specific spoke arrangement. The wheels are insanely fast and rock solid even over pot holes and UK roads. Breeze to set up tubeless and look the part too. And the best part is seeing the time fall off my 10 mile TT times. Couldn’t recommend Velo Elite and their wheels any higher.

Best wheels I’ve ever owned! So fast and great in windy conditions. Run super well and easy to set up tubeless with. Great value for money and definitely up there with the best wheels around. Would highly recommend!

Superb wheels! It's amazing the difference the personal approach from VeloElite made to the finished product. Wheels tuned to me as a rider rather than mass produced. Great weight, comfortable, stiff aerodynamic and pretty!

Fantastic wheels at a great price. After placing my order Tom phoned me to discuss the specifics of the build and made recommendations for brass nipples as I wanted to use these wheels all year round. Having ridden the wheels for 2 months these genuinely are the best wheels I have ridden. I will be ordering another set for my second bike. 100% recommend

I've been using a set of VeloElite Carbon 50mm Disc Wheels for 6 months now and I can say they are easily the best wheels I've ever ridden. They are super fast and look amazing. Tom has been a pleasure to deal with and super accommodating and helpful. Definitely some of the best hand built wheels out there.

Knowing the hard work that has gone into selecting the right rims, hubs and spokes that are specific to the performance I look for in wheels really makes Veloelite a no brainer.

Tom leaves nothing to chance when speccing and building these wheels which makes a lot of sense once you have ridden a set. The subtle differences you feel from a hand built wheel really make these glossy rims a must have in my opinion.

I have used a couple of sets of VeloElite wheels over the past 2 years and I can honestly say they’re right up there with the best. The unwavering performance that you get from a hand built wheel simply cannot be rivalled and Tom has absolutely nailed that with both of my sets.
They’re light, roll really nicely and best of all look amazing in my bikes too!
10/10 would not hesitate to recommend them to other riders!
