My journey had been a long and arduous one before Carbon Rewind got involved and it wasn't plain sailing then, but they sent the crack team in Ram & Tony to install my room in roof insulation (& trickle vents). They were courteous, very hard working and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Satisfied? I was delighted! Austin then fitted my Mdev vents, night storage and panel heaters. It wasn't a straight forward install, but he was also courteous and conscious of making sure I was happy. This work has been life changing for me and I am very grateful.

This should be a zero star review
Carbon Rewind gets one star from me, as it's not possible to add a review with anything lower.
This shoddy company installed six storage heaters for me by way of a grant. They sent unqualified electricians and rushed the work in a day despite being paid enough under the grant for 7 days.
The work was not only poor, it was dangerous. Since the installation was carried out, I've had to call them out numerous times. So far, we've nearly had a fire, two heaters have had to be completely replaced.
Today, a Dimplex engineer has been out to fix another problem. He was horrified by what has been found. The result is that I will most likely have to get all heaters re-installed so that they continue to work and are safe to use.
If you are having work carried out under a grant and these cowboys are assigned to the job, I strongly advise you decline the work and request a competent contractor. Ask to see evidence that those attending actually know what they are doing and are qualified.
Further to your comments - yes, you are absolutely right. This does need to be put right at your expense. But you've had ample time and opportunity to rectify the issues and you've failed to do that. We now need to involve a qualified Dimplex engineer to review the situation and put things right. I simply will not allow another unqualified Carbon Rewind person into my home and cause more damage.

Alison logistics operative review
Alison rang me today whilst I was at work, I missed the call but she text asking me to ring back which was helpful. I rang her on my lunch break and was not aware the solar panels were due to be delivered today, she asked if she could drop them off this afternoon but I told her I was at work and would be home at 5:15pm. She said she was happy to deliver them then which was really helpful, she was really friendly and she was in and out within 15 minutes

Will not do what they have been paid to do
Referred for an energy assessment and EPC which took place in early March. This was through a Government scheme.
Despite being told my EPC would be sent to me and uploaded to the EPC register within two weeks this still has not been done. I have sent several emails to this company to find out why this simple and routine procedure still hasn’t been done and no response.
Due to my property being freezing cold I was also told by the assessor that I could have extra loft insulation, trickle vents and a PIV unit. This appeared to be the only thing on offer even though the windows are very drafty and some do not shut at all. Not heard another word about getting this work done.
I suppose I am being ignored as Carbon Rewind have been paid and I am not a private customer and they know the disabled and vulnerable are not able to keep fighting for every little thing. I shouldn’t have to be awake all night with the worry and having to write reviews at 4am.
Perhaps someone could explain why I am being ignored.

Carbon Rewind has changed our life with the work they have done for us!
From having no heating in a 200+ year old property to being fully insulated - having radiators, solar panel, vents, normal hot water etc you name it, it has been done and to a high standard, respecting the property, almost to a point you don't need before and after pics as every wonky little corner, nook and cranny is still there after the house being fully insulated - Very special thanks to Martin and Darryl for this - so professional friendly and skilled!
Gordana and Jim were amazing throughout this whole project , and it was a big one 😃, and we can not thank you enough for being just a call away and being so helpful and kind, nothing was ever too much!

Really pleased so far!
Danielle booked me in for loft and cavity wall insulation. She was very polite and helpful as she worked around my availability without issues.
Barney arrived on a Thursday to fit my PIV, ready for the loft insulation team on the Friday. He was very friendly, quick, clean and tidy. He did a really lovely job and made a fuss of my dog which she loved!
Dale came the next day to do my loft insulation and fit window ventilation. He was also very quick and did a great job.
I’m now awaiting my cavity wall insulation at the end of the month, so will edit my review after then.
Really pleased with this company so far!
