I did a one off payment and found a subscription is ripping me off for 30.95 a month

Fraudulant transactions, charged me 39.99 and then 39.99 again after I cancelled the direct debit. Currently disputing with Bank. Disgusting little spineless thieves.

Everybody must know the Terrible and scammer web site , I pay £5.95 to check one car on 28th May 3025, but it charge me £39.9 again at same pay method on 30th May 2025.

Today 31th May 2025,them reply me thai I had subscribed to their premium service, and their premium service is automatically charged as a monthly subscription for £39.90.
I swear I had no subscried any premium service, and any presonal user will want to pay £39.9 per month to check a car details monthly, it is not made sense, and they take my money without any notice, it is a truly scam website.

Be very careful with this company soon as you pay the £5 approx for a car check they automatically sign you up and charge you almost £40 a month for a subscription even though they do not make it known this will happen best thing I can say is DO NOT USE EVER

I wish I’d checked on here before using this company however with something like this you’d assume it’s a one off and it would be fine, however they are clearly getting away with charging people what you think is just a one off £5.95 car check, then a few days later signing you up to a subscription and taking almost £40. I went into the section on the website where it says unsubscribe from payments and it says I wasn’t even signed up, hoping for a prompt response from them as to why this payment has come out if their website is saying I have no subscription!

I paid £5.95 for a car check and after 3 days they charged me £39.90. These guys are criminals, they rob people. All the reviews are negative. I have informed my credit card to get my money back.

DO NOT USE! They advertise a £5.95 special for a car check, in the small T&C's you HAVE to click on, you are then automatically signed up to a monthly subscription of £39.90, which I have since found out you need to cancel in 48 hours, problems are, doing this on phone screen you can't read it, so small print, its a con!

I’ve just fell victim to these people!
Was simply trying to put my car up for sale and as a peace of mind did a HPI check, after paying the £5.95 thinking this is a one off check, I have now been charged nearly £40! Didn’t see or was made aware of any subscriptions.
Bank also not willing to stop payment either!

I paid for a car check £5.95. Then noticed another paymeny of £39.90 taken from my account three days later. I didn't agree to any further charge or subscription and it was not mentioned anywhere during the check process. In fact I've only had an invoice for the intial transaction. Trying to sort with credit card company now. Beware.

I did not see anywhere that I was actually signing up to a subscription service, when I just wanted to check one vehicle for £5.95.

They’ve since taken two further payments of £39.90 before I realised.ill be reporting to trading standards and I’ve opened a case with my bank to try and retrieve some of my money back.

I rarely wish failure upon a business, but in this case, I make an exception. Any company that profits by deceiving its customers deserves nothing but financial ruin, and I sincerely hope that your directors, shareholders, and everyone complicit in this disgraceful scheme reap the consequences of their unethical actions.

READ THE REVIEWS. Nowhere does it explain you are signing up to a monthly service. This is basically criminal. Reported to Trading Standards and the CMA.

This is not a good service for private individuals wishing to just check one or two cars. I didn't spot that I had signed up to the monthly service when I ordered one check.

There are service providers out there who provide more comprehensive and better reports, double the information. I have used one and haven't inadvertently signed up for a monthly service I do not need.

There are many pitfalls when buying abused car, I just hadn't expected this would be one of them.

Wish I'd read the reviews ..same problem..subscription not clear at all. Thought I was paying one off payment then got subscription charge £39.90.

This is a criminal website that should be banned and their Directors arrested. They exploit the loopholes that some banks that are not so ' scam proof' just process the additional £39.90 inbthe name of Subscription. Banks should be verifying Direct Debits before processing. DONT EVER USE THEM

Really, really wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing a £6 car check. They have subsequently taken 4 unauthorised payments from my account. Absolute criminals. DO NOT USE THIS SITE

TRIED TO TAKE UNAUTHORISED FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT BUT IT WAS BLOCKED BY THE BANK.
