Clunky and not easy to navigate for patient or clinician.
Love the interface! It's easy to use and straightforward. We're still in the free plan and just had our demo. The support team was very helpful in answering all our questions. Also excited for the features they have in store!

Currently on that $1 promo thing, though, will revert back to using the Essentials plan since I only use this to organize my patient list, setting up dental appointments, and to send reminders to patients for their upcoming appointments 2 days before instead of me doing things manually! Trying out Carepatron's free plan and it's quite simple to figure out. They have A LOT of templates and you just have to figure out which are the essential ones for you and customize them. Good experience so far.

I've reviewed most healthcare CRMs out there, and Carepatron stands out for having the most features at a very reasonable price. I'd recommend that anyone give it a try.

I’ve found some significant HIPAA and privacy concerns with Carepatron, specifically regarding document visibility in complex family cases. It lacks the granular conditional logic needed to ensure that only the correct party sees specific documentation. In sensitive situations—like high-conflict divorce or shared custody—you need 'hard walls' between portals. Carepatron's current structure relies too much on manual sharing to the client (who may be a minor), which creates a massive risk for human error and accidental disclosure. For a modern EHR, the lack of automated, conditional logic privacy features for guardians is a Huge concern.

I have used Carepatron from the early days and have always found the team initially Jamie very responsive and super helpful. I always communicate the items I would love included and they always listen to my suggestions. I have found Carepatron exceptional as it has everything I need in one place - sure there are things that could be added but just like our own businesses things are always being updated and added to. I love the AI its amazing as a help tool and if it cant help a team member helps promptly. The note transcription is a great tool also and saves me SO much time. All in all its an excellent platform and very reasonable price. I love it.

We used Carepatron for about a year. Issue after issue. We paid the subscription in full. After all the issues and tired of dealing with them we switched platforms. I emailed the owner to print off notes for an audit , notes mind you that we already paid for and belong to us, and he will not release them without us paying another 228.00.

I spent hours setting up an account, only to come back later and everything was deleted. Even my bank account connection. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They have 100% lack of empathy or sympathy for you when you are distraught because all your stuff is deleted. I did nothing to delete my information, it was all them. 11/13/2025. Your response is not accurate, I am the account owner and I did NOT remove my own access.

You have to use the date calendar icon, otherwise your input isn't accepted. Much easier for me to type the date than go through all that nonsense.
I also added a 9 character password and it wasn't accepted?
Great, easy to use client management system for counsellors and very affordable with all text and email reminders included. I'm very happy and haven't availed myself of all the features as yet.
The EMR itself has so much potential and can really be great. The pricing is great, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. First, there is no way to contact them by phone. Second, you have 0 timeline of when they will get back to you or who will be responding to you. I have had numerous messages go unanswered and even been ghosted on video calls. If their support team got it together this could be a great EMR but I will be canceling my membership due to the inconsistent support.

It provides the basic functionality, but nothing more.
I was using the free version, which is not supposed to be time-limited. However, at one point my account froze, but my availabilities remained open. Customers were booking appointments without me being able to stop them or see the appointment details, as I could no longer access my account at all. 2 emails and a message on FB to their customer service to finally have the beginning of a tedious solution to close my availabilities and change platform.
I strongly advise against this! Poorly thought-out software on top of that.

J'utilisais la version gratuite qui n'est pas censée être limitée dans le temps. Pourtant à un moment mon compte s'est bloqué, mais mes disponibilités sont restées ouvertes et ouvertes. Des clients prenaient des rendez-vous sans que je sois puisse l'empêcher ou voir les détails du rendez-vous comme je ne pouvais plus du tout accéder à mon compte. 2 courriel et message sur FB ont leur service clientèle pour enfin avoir un début de solution fastidieuse pour fermer mes disponibilités et changer de plateforme.
Je vous déconseille fortement ! Logiciel mal pensé en plus de ça.
