I am extremely disappointed with Cargo Naija’s service. Almost three weeks ago, I paid for express delivery to send a custom‑made dress and hair extensions for my sister’s wedding. The package was supposed to arrive in 3–5 days, but nothing was delivered. The DHL tracking showed only “information received, not package received.” When I contacted Cargo Naija, their employee eventually admitted the package was missing, after initially blaming an unrelated Air India plane crash.
I was later told the package was mistakenly sent to someone else, who refuses to release it. This left us scrambling at the last minute to replace all items, ruining our plans for the wedding day.
I demand a full refund for the dress, hair, and delivery fee. If this is not resolved within 14 days, I will escalate the matter by filing formal complaints with:
Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), NSC and PCC.
I will also report to bloggers like VDM if nothing is done about this.

We are genuinely sorry for the distress caused by this situation and fully understand how important this shipment was to you. We deeply regret the timing and the disruption it brought to your sister’s wedding plans.
However, we feel it is important to clarify a few key points regarding the incident:
DHL Tracking – “Information Received”:
The status "information received" means DHL acknowledged receipt of the shipment details — this is the standard first step when we book packages with DHL. It does not mean your package was not received; rather, it indicates the booking was logged into their system.
Mislabeling at DHL Hub (NAHCO):
Unfortunately, your package was mistakenly labeled as another customer’s item during processing at DHL’s receiving hub in NAHCO. As a result, it was delivered to the wrong address. This is an operational error we have been actively working to resolve.
Recovery in Progress:
We attempted recovery from the mistaken recipient's address last Thursday, but they were unavailable. Our driver will return on Monday to collect the package. Once recovered, your package will be delivered to you within 10 days without fail.
Package Not Missing:
We want to correct the impression that your parcel is missing. It is not. It was wrongly delivered, and we are taking all necessary steps to retrieve and deliver it to you.
Refund Policy:
Please note that we do have a refund policy in place for lost items — provided insurance coverage was taken out during the booking process. This is clearly outlined in our terms and conditions. If you opted for this cover, we will honour any refund due based on its terms.
We understand your disappointment and sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience. Our team has treated this matter with urgency and seriousness, and we remain committed to resolving it fully.

Very Satisfied with My Shipment to Abuja
