As someone who will always compare quotes for third party car hire excess insurance, and never pay the car rental companies the massive premium they charge for their own equivalent, I have over the years seen Eversure consistently coming out on top in terms of product and price. I would have given it 5 stars but I am 84 next year and as I have been Hiring a car abroad for over 20 years (not including Covid) I am disappointed that I may not get the same cover next year.

Taken out this insurance many times before but not had to use . The test is always when you have to claim and I did this year. All very quick and easy and helpful . Will use again

Sraightforward online application. Step by step unambiguous questions followed by the quote. The price was higher than I expected - abut half the cost that the hire firm was asking. I had some problems paying, although I inputted the bank conformation 6 digit cose the transaction did not go through. I did get a reminder to complete the transaction the following day that went straight through.

Why not send insurance docs by email
I love the cover but personally I am old fashioned and would at least like my policy documents emailing to me at auto renewal instead of another portal and password to login to. I think it is not open business if I have a busy life you have made it more difficult for me to access the policy easily.
