I recently telephoned to discuss some proposed work and was put through to one of the partners. From the outset, he seemed far more interested in what he was reading than in listening to me. When I asked for clarification on a point, he became noticeably irritated.

I explained that I am hard of hearing, particularly on the telephone, and simply needed him to repeat or clarify what he had said. Instead of responding professionally, he abruptly told me to obtain legal services elsewhere, stating that he had “already told me once.”

His manner was rude, dismissive and entirely unprofessional. It was an extremely disappointing experience and not what I would expect from a firm offering legal services.

I used Carr-Richards in the purchase of my new, old, house recently. I, like many, wanted to beat the hike in stamp duty 1st April. A tall order as I only started the process at the end of February. Even with both buyer and seller chain free it was a tall order. But we did it thanks to great work from both solicitors involved and the estate agent. Would absolutely recommend them. Thanks.
