Carryproof Avis 

Purchased "Foundation" for $100 after $25 discount. Good design, quality materials, good execution. Reasonable price $50. As a Veteran, I dislike "Veteran Owned" marketing efforts. Overhyped; significantly overpriced.

Beautiful product, but the customer service experience was surprisingly poor.

I emailed PROOF after receiving my wallet because the company co-founder had sent an email inviting customers to reply with questions or feedback. I responded saying the wallet was beautiful and that I liked it, but mentioned one feature I preferred on my previous Ekster: its mechanism fanned the cards out instead of presenting them as a single block.

I never asked to return the wallet and never said I was unhappy with it. I was simply offering product feedback.

Customer service (Carla) responded by giving me return instructions. When I clarified that I wasn’t asking for a return and was just passing along some product feedback, another representative (Jess) doubled down, telling me "You are not happy with the wallet which is exactly why Carla offered a return. Generally, folks who reach out about not being happy with the wallet are wanting to return it for a refund."

That was exactly the problem. Rather than reading what I had actually written, they categorized me as a dissatisfied customer and responded accordingly. A simple “Thanks for the suggestion, we’ll pass it along” would have been much more appropriate.

The wallet itself is attractive and well made. I kinda wished it fanned the cards out when you pulled the tab, but that's my only quibble with the product. The customer service response, however, came across as defensive and condescending.

I personally think that you should get yourself a new guy to do your commercial. This man has a very somber voice and wears his hat backwards.!!!! Very unattractive. To the eye, if he want to up your cells, put a really nice looking man or woman for that matter in there!!! For rel

I pay attention to anything a veteran invents or promotes, I bought this and I love it... I thought the cover was metal but it wasn't, it is plastic, but I love it anyway... I had them put my initials and phone number on the cover and it came out really nice... The pull tab is super creative, all you all you carry is credit cards and your license, health cards plus the cash strap is really inventive... I bought the apple locate insert which will help me find my wallet if I lose it, really cool... You can carry this wallet in your front pocket instead of your back which screws up you back... I bought it, I love it, and that is was created by people who love and served our country, wow, congrats and thank you for your service!!!

OMG Ive been in advertising for 40+ years and this commercial is so confusing. The guy in the ad doesn't explain what the item is?? I didn't know who this guy was?? Just that he's a veteran (thank you for you service) as are the guys that invented this thing which never is explained exactly what it is. Also, if this thing is lost or stolen, they will replace it for free. Replace what??? We still don't know what this thing is or what to do with it?????? It's like this commercial was written by my husband!! He expects me to know what he is thinking and knowledge of what he wants me to do without explaining what he's thinking or what he wants me to do. WHAT IS THIS THING FOR?????

Recently purchased a wallet from Proof as it was a veteran owned company which! Received the wallet on a timely basis. Shortly after using it developed an issue with the wallet strap. Contacted customer support and was very disappointed with their response as the advertisement says they will resolve any issue with no questions asked. Not the case. First excuse was they were understaffed ! Who cares. Moved on as they don’t stand behind their products as advertised. Mark Would not recommend to anyone.

I sent an email on a Monday not to deliver or mail my wallet till Friday , i get am email on Wednesday, sorry we missed your email, its been mailed out, but hey no problem it should not make it to NY till Saturday lol lol lol it arrived on Wednesday now POOF MY WALLET IS GONE.now that wallet was stolen off my porch . PROOF WALLET CAN KEEP MY MONEY IT WAS WORTH WRITING THIS BAD REVIEW......ZERO STARS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE!!!¡!¡!@@@@@@@!!!!!!!!!!

I went on the website to see what was offered and the prices. They had so many pop-ups that you had to keep deleting I just gave up and I’ll buy somebody else’s.

Product does not look the same as the ad, very small and cheaply made. Tried contacting the support depart. via e-mail no response. Wallet may be worth $20 not $125 they charge.

Terrible customer service

Just another scam using veteran references to sell their product. Not made in the U.S., not returned without questions or hassles, and don’t all of us want to know who the heck the two folks behind this product are? Shame on you!

I wanted to find something truly special for my two sons, who have both managed to become incredibly successful in their own right. The commercial for Carry Proof wallets first caught my eye because of how visibly proud the owners are of their product. As veterans, both my wife and I strongly believe in supporting those who have served this great country, so choosing a veteran-owned business was a no-brainer.
While a “lifetime warranty” is a heavily overused marketing term these days, I loved the idea of giving my sons a premium gift that could actually be replaced if the unexpected happened. It felt like an added touch of "I care." I gifted one to my oldest son, who is already a father and an executive in the making, and the other to my youngest son, who just completed his doctorate degree (and whose birthday happened to fall right on Father’s Day!).
For my oldest, I had the wallet engraved with a written manifestation of the future he is about to materialize. He loved it—but unfortunately, the wallet attracted not only him but also his dog.
My son was absolutely devastated by the damage, but he reached out to Carry Proof anyway. Without a single hesitation or doubt, they offered to replace the damaged wallet. I truly don’t think there are many companies out there anymore that stand so firmly behind their products and their promise of complete customer satisfaction.
Carry Proof is a shining example of technical expertise, exceptional management, and above all, the heart of gold found in those who have gallantly served our nation. Thank you for delivering the absolute best shopping experience of my life. You have customers for life in our family!

Defense Intelligence Senior Executive (Ret)

I've had my Proof wallet and Vanguard pen for over a year. The carbon wallet still looks brand new, and the card and cash straps show no pilling or wear (unlike my previous slim wallet from another brand). I love the pen - writes smooth (Space Ball refill) and it feels great - good weight and balance, and the shape is surprisingly more comfortable than a round pen. The pen mechanism was starting to wear and the tip was no longer extending fully. I sent them an email with a pic and less than a week later I have a new pen. Great products and customer service.

Not that great really. Seems a little cheap. And the commercial is ridiculous. Who would say something as ignorant as “these are the only men I trust with my life”. Because they build a great wallet? I would tell that “actor” that there are millions of men that you could trust with your life. Men you’ve never met. This company needs to learn how to promote a product without demeaning huge swaths of men. Duh…

Just received my proof wallet yesterday. It didn't overwhelm like the ads all say. Mine can only hold 13 cards and that squeezing the last one in. I don't think the fabric strap will last more than a year depending on use. I will give it a chance and update my review in 6 months. I respect all for their service to this country.

I’ve bought literally every “social
Media” wallet you can think of and I always come comeback to my proof wallet. It is an actual functional slim wallet in a way most other slim wallets just aren’t. It can carry as many cards as you need and still stays as slim as possible. I don’t carry much cash but it easily handles folded bills. I haven’t needed their customer service but they seem to be decent. The wallet is expensive but with a true lifetime warranty that makes it more reasonable.

This is not a Made in America by an American Company. Mine was shipped from China, and took 2 months to get as the first order got lost. The replacement order came from outside of the US too, so not sure what is going on here but this may not be a US Veteran owned company.

Wallet lasted less than 3 months, metal plate fell off. Wrote to company and request for new one was declined. So much for lifetime warranty

A wallet that fits like 3 cash bills in it? So dumb.

I had purchased one for my husband first, then my Dad, then I realized that my Ridge wallet was nowhere near as user friendly as, so now I have one too.

I like the wallet, it’s ok, my only complaint is I think it is OVERPRICED! I guess they are competing with that Ridge wallet and others price-wise, but over $100 is ridiculous in my honest opinion. But they got me and we’ll see how it fairs in the coming months and whether or not I return to my old wallet…
