Went to your Tamworth store to do something on a buy back was rudely spoke by your store manager not good customer service really because we didn’t get something back sometimes not being funny if he’s got a problem should do it by speaking personal not in front of other customers I’m not happy and will be taking it further thank you Andrew

My experience at Cash Converters was frustrating. The staff seemed to lack the necessary training and knowledge about the services they advertise. As a result, they were unable to complete the task I came in for. The overall interaction felt unprofessional, and it would be beneficial for the company to ensure staff are properly trained before offering certain services

I went to this cash converters in Leyton, and wanted to ask how much on buy back loan would I get for a panasonix lumix camera and iphone 14 pro max that had a cracked screen.
He said that because screen was broken he can’t take it. Fine then he started looking inside and said my camera was not working, which I wasn’t aware of, he then said it was ‘already’ replaced. NO IT WASN’T, AS I AM THE OWNER OF THE PHONE AND NEVER HAD THIS PHONE REPLACED OR FIXED. HENCE THE SCREEN WAS STILL BROKEN. So he already assumed things. Based on his own mind. I checked the 02 contract and original box at home, it was new not refurbished phone like he also made me believe I had. I looked inside the phone and it said camera needed to be fixed. NOTHING AT ALL WHAT HE SAID regarding being refurbished.

Because that was my old iphone from a few years ago, I had my new iphone 17pro max on me, that I recently upgraded myself to as my monthly pay plan allowed me to. I looked at him and asked what about this phone, how much possibly I could get ?

He looked at me and sarcastically started laughing and murmured under nose RUDELY ! that I have two phones and that looks dodgy or so. I looked at him and said I can have even 5 phones if I want to. If I pay all the bills and own them, what is it to do with you???
I have proof bills I paid for it. People have many ipads, phones, computers, etc and they keep back ups, just in case something happens.
As not everyone have an icloud.

Beside if one phone breaks then the other is there to use in the mid time. As it takes week or two to fix it and have it back from the insurance company as per their advise. So you have to use something during that time. Otherwise you are left with no phone at all. I SAID TO HIM STOP ASSUMING THINGS WITHOUT HAVING ANY EVIDENCE AT FIRST!
He said it’s my job to assume the worse things. Really ???? Do you even have a paper evidence for anything you just said at all? NO YOU DON’T, SO SHUSH YOUR MOUTH !!!!! Then I took the phone and left. He started gas lighting me talking lies about me to people standing in the shop near the counter about what he thinks just happened.

Creating false allegations and accusations and witnesses. He runs his mouth full of lies and makes it look like you are the problem. EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT THINGS IN LIFE, AND HAVE SOME MANNERS AT FIRST TO START WITH, INSTEAD OF A NASTY ATTITUDE.
COMPLETE LACK OF MANNERS AND BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

What kind of guys are you employing????

It’s not his job to ASSUME THINGS WITH NO EVIDENCE AND ACCUSE PEOPLE OF LIES!!!!
GASLIGHTING THEM AND LAUGHING AT THEM TO OTHERS NEAR BY. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY HAVE EVIDENCE FOR EVERYTHING THEY SAY.
Again if I want to have 10 phones and have proof of purchase for every one of them. THEN I CAN. IT’S MY BUSINESS WHAT I OWN, ESPECIALLY WHEN PAYING FOR IT, NOT HIS DECISION !!!! There is nothing dodgy about that at all . HE NEEDS TO ELEVATE HIS MIND. INSTEAD OF CHATTING RUBBISH AND JUDGING BOOK BY COVER.

Beside I work for the council and if anyone acted the way you do, they would of get sacked for their abrupt behaviour . So you messed with the wrong person.

The guy by the name Thabang at Soshanguve Mall branch cash converters , he’s rude he can assist people that found you in the queue while you sit there and he won’t even apologise this looks normal to him , he doesn’t respect customers. He can make you sit for more than an hour and still google hi person interests(dischem/pick n at ) specials while you sit there as if it’s nothing . I’m dissatisfied with his service,

I bought a watch in the Kilburn area and it turned out to be blocked. They're selling blocked watches and won't take them back. The staff isn't working well.

Sell fake non genuine watches online, advertising as authentic. Provide no evidence of authenticity and refuse to refund. This is fraud. Furthermore, send a faulty fraudulent watch. Battery not working, had it replaced, watch still not working. Horologist advised the time mechanism is faulty and needs to be replaced. Still refusing to refund even though sent a watch that does not work and a watch that they will not and no one will authenticate it. I wonder if a Current Affair might take this nightmare up and report it. DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM CASH CONVERTERS.

(*primera opinión 09/07/25).No tienen un teléfono de atención. No te dan ningún tipo de respuesta. No te devuelven el dinero de un producto no enviado (15 días después) y porque me van a obligar a denunciarlos a la policía y a Consumo.

Rang up. Couldn't be bothered to give a quote. Very lazy and unprofessional. They expect you to do everything while waiting around like Vultures pouncing on dead people's money.

Have purchased from Cash Converters numerous times, have always had a good experience, every package I've received has always been in good order. I will continue to shop with them and recommend them to people I know.

I was helped by Phelele at sendton branch today 15 may 2025, over the phone, oh this has all the costomer service charecter, she gave me all the necessary information also she was very quicky now i am waiting for my parcel beause she made sure that it was sent today... i am very happy for her service unobuntu. Has petiances, she cares, also follow up on my requests, thank u sis🥰

How disgraceful service I received just hour ago from barking store. Been regular there for years. Not the best but it was ok. But today , went with a nearly new tablet boxed with accessories to get a little buyback loan. The chap who I never saw before , takes one look and quotes £15 . He did no research or looked at any information , trying to probably make his boss happy by making higher returns . I walked out went to cex , they quoted £82 pounds . But it was 45 mins wait because of device testing. I had no choice and far from home , didnt have money with me as I was sure to get over £50 based on past experience with devices worth less then this one. I walked back and said ok, I'll take £15 , I'll get it back the next day .. but look at this lads cheeky, he gave me the money before I signed paper, then when he got the papers , never explained anything , regarding terms or condition. Just " sign here, here pls" after signing I was looking closely as I started walking out, I realised there is no date of buyback end, and no other charges. I said how much do I have to pay to get my item back? He nervously replies , you sold it to us . I say what ! You going to pay me £15 for newish item worth £200 and without discussing with me you decided for me , that I don't want it back. What would of happened if I not read the contract, and came few days lol after to get my item back . That guy may not be seen again , and I got robbed by CC, the godfather of handling stolen goods. I mean
buyback is the whole point of cash converters. I did some research and find that CC does not offer change of mind .

You know I think if I did lose my item, probably serves me right, for supporting a business that makes money from mostly stolen products of ordinary people like myself, who go through so much distress.

You walk down the street, some thug beats you up, and takes your phone. Guess what cash converters will pay the thug for your phone , no questions will be asked ..
