I did the BLS/ILS course. It was a really good course, the trainer was very friendly and professional. He helped the students feel at ease using humour and helped understanding using related topics and ideas. I would definitely recommend.

Just completed a first aid for mental health. Shaun was very knowledgeable and a fantastic instructor. I really enjoyed the course and would certainly recommend CTS. As a first aid instructor myself I it was great to see how Shaun delivered the course, I will certainly be adopting some of his methods into my training courses. 100% professional, engaging and with added humour, the best way to learn.

Amazing, down to earth tutors with a sense of humour. Reassuring and informative took the BLS and autism and dementia awareness training.. brilliant

The morning BLS course was delivered at a great tempo with both practical and verbal interaction. Tutors made everyone feel comfortable and all instructions were clear and concise, I feel confident to administer CPR.
The afternoon session covered Autism & Dementia, once again this was delivered professionally with a number of topics that covered unique characteristics and implications associated with each health condition. A real eye opening day which was well received by the Medical Response Team.

I was on mental health first aid course on Friday . From start to finish the course was very helpful with everything explained in a clear way also giving you time to give your views from passed experience. Shaun is a very knowledgeable teacher on the subject matter. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for any training needs.

Absolutely brilliant! This is the first time we've used Castleford Training Solutions for First Aid training at York Barbican and Shaun really could not have been any better. The team were completely engaged throughout and actually learnt how to care for someone in trouble as opposed to learning to pass a test. It was quite clear that Shaun has a wealth of knowledge, backed by years of experience and lots of his own learning. Our team now have real confidence in our knowledge and ability to help someone should we ever need to.

I have just completed my FREC3 course with Shaun. It was a very interesting, very interactive course. Shaun made you feel at ease. The knowledge and equipment that Shaun has is emense. And let's not forget his wife's Oscar winning performance in one of the scenarios. I won't spoil it for people booking on, but it was top quality.

Absolutely fantastic frec 3 course, Shaun the instructor was great, i now have a greater understanding of cpr, cat bleeds (the scenario was so realistic) also burns of different types and many other aspects of the course. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn what to do in different types of emergencies. I would definitely rate this course as 10/10.

the best training ever i learned so much i was very nervous at fist with being dyslexic but the support that was given to me helped me relax and get on and enjoy the training i would recommend this training to anyone shaun as to be one of the best trainers i have ever had the pleasure of meeting

Shaun made this training extremely enjoyable. I'm a British forces medic, and thought I wouldn't learn much on this course. Oh how I was wrong!
