Missing item in delivery.
For the second time in three years of ordering from Catering 24, there was an item missing. We were closed for maintenance so have only just realised that our last order was missing lids but the containers were delivered. Reached out to be told "Unfortunately, this over our time period of reporting any missing items, whic is 7 working days." You'd think after spending thousands of pounds with them across the years they would want to remedy their mistake, very strange that they are happy to lose thousands more in orders with us instead of just replacing a £28.00 item that they forgot in the first place. Will be moving suppliers today, terrible customer service experience.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry this has left you feeling let down.
We completely understand the frustration - when you've been a loyal customer for three years, you expect to be looked after, and rightly so. We do want to be transparent that this order was delivered and signed for back in November 2025, with the issue being raised with us in March 2026. Our 7 day reporting policy is in place to help us investigate and resolve issues quickly, and a gap of several months does make that much harder.
However, your custom matters to us far more than a rigid policy, and we certainly don't want to lose a valued customer over a £28 item. Please get in touch with us directly so we can discuss this properly and find a way forward that works for both of us.
We'd genuinely like to make this right.

absolute rip-off
absolute rip-off. so i ordered 2 compartment containers for my business. £46 for 300 so i thought under 20p its ok. when they arrived i realised that price was only the base and not the lids. So i have waited now to order the lids for the same price that is zero value for money. if it is costing me 40p per container for take away i might as well shut the shop.

We have requested more information with out a response. Please contact us with your order number so we are able to look into the pricing, we always display if lids are purchased separately and we work always price competitively, for the last 2 years we have not increased prices, in fact many customers have had price decreases through our kitchen club. Overall, satisfied.
I bought 3 stainless steel serving spoons. The price was excellent but one of the spoons' finish is not great. Also, some quirks with delivery. The order confirmation email from them said I would receive a delivery confirmation email the night before delivery. I never received this email. Furthermore, only one spoon was delivered. I contacted the company and their response was, to their credit, quick and helpful, so full marks for customer support. The other 2 spoons arrived the following day.
