Quick and Easy... but no Autopay?

My first payment was for the Heathrow dropoff charge. It was a manual process, though quick to do on my phone. I would prefer autopay, the same as when I pay the London congestion charge.

Is good to save time and no needs for…

Is good to save time and no needs for worries. But I didn’t like the way the tax was paid because I don’t have a confirmation or any email confirming that. Why didn’t I received a confirmation email from DVLA confirming that my vehicle is taxed for another year.?

Caura is such a useful app

I think Caura is such a useful app. To have all your car documents in one place on the phone is brilliant! It was easy to pay my car tax but I didn’t realise that paying it early would lose my remaining paid period from last year.

My first experience of Caura hasn't been good.

My first experience of Caura hasn't been great. Paid £2.50 for a Dartford crossing on Saturday 30th August. No confirmation that my crossing was recognised on the App. No confirmation that my Dart Charge had been paid. Checked the .gov website. Says I need to pay for one crossing. So £2.50 down as I paid for a crossing twice. Thankfully only a small value transaction. I won't be using Caura again.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. All confirmed transactions are shown in the 'activity tab' and you'll receive a receipt via email.

Payments to Dart Charge also remain valid for up to 12 months, so if you've paid for an additional crossing here you won't need to pay next time you make a trip.

Easy

It was easy to download the app and to process the Heathrow drop off payment via Google Pay. The transaction reflected immediately against the Santander bank account. I have been asked to provide a Caura generated email regarding proof of payment for the vehicle registration number, the date and the time , so such a confirmation email would have provided peace of mind, as fighting a PCN should preferably be avoided.

Great Customer Support from Caura

Great Customer Support: I have been using Caura for a couple of years mainly to avail of their auto-pay facility. I recently ran into an issue with Transport for London whereby TfL were mistakenly charging me for daily ULEZ.
Caura's Customer support (Janice) was excellent in contesting the issue on my behalf.
She kept me well-informed throughout the entire process also.

Technical glitch so my payment never went through. This has happened last couple of times trying to pay city fees through app. I end up having to go through gov UK to pay
