Good service to DIY or trade

We have had a good working relationship with our local CEF branch for over 30 years, this is now supplemented by the excellent CEF online service and National Accounts department

Chris was such an incredible help to someone who knows nothing about boilers

Well. It’s not often you get customer service like what I had with CEF. Chris Mills went above and beyond to resolve my issue which wasn’t even fulfilled at CEF. I ordered a boiler off Amazon which did not come with its installation kit. Chris contacted the brand on my behalf and got me in touch with customer services, this has now resulted in the parts being ordered by CEF and it has resolved after the original company and brand were not helpful at all! Couldn’t have asked for better support. Will always recommend.

Appalling customer service

I purchased a Milwaukee compressor online for a specific job. The item arrived however was damaged/ faulty, after immediately contacting customer services they wouldn’t arrange collection and instructed that I must return it in person to a branch. The branch (Wimborne) wanted nothing to do with it however eventually accepted it. After the original promise of a quick refund I’m still waiting. Online Customer Service is appalling, unhelpful and difficult to even get a reply from.

I received a telephone call to say that…Good news Bad news Good news

I received a telephone call to say that the item I had ordered had arrived at the store. I was impressed that they had telephoned. I went to the store and was told that the item was not available. Said that I had been phoned and was told I didn't phone you. Someone at the store did. It then took further time for this person to then find the item.
