We scheduled them to come out and give me and my wife & estimate on Wednesday April 15th to come out the next day the 16th at 4:00 p.m and we were at the home waiting and they call us at 4:30 to say they are not going to come because it's to far when we made appointment they knew the address so why would they schedule it in the first place terrible customer service!!! Waited here for nothing!

I had the interior of my home and kitchen cabinets painted and I am left absolutely devastated and out of 8k+. I wish I could post pics on here. I had to repaint all of my trim and literally every wall and my brand new cabinets are ruined. My brand new floors are also scratched and have random divots and there was paint EVERYWHERE. the staff is lovely I want to say. And I don't believe it to be their fault. I think if there is no one therw to teach you, put processes in place, and check your work on completion, then there is no way to be successful in this line of work. I would absolutely never do this again and just hope they don't rob someone else of their money under the assumption that there will be solid work done.

I advised this company I was to be out of the country and not to paint my front door till I was back home. Only to come home and found my door already painted with tape all over the place. My neighbor advised me they took my wreath off the door, placed it on the ground in the pouring rain, destroying the ornaments which I found laying in the dirt upon my arrival home. Reached out to the company and spoke to some guy named Luke who absolutley did nothing to rectify the problem and I am left with an incomplete paint job. Absolutely unacceptable! My home is on the market which makes this even more frustrating. My advice find another company.

I am very satisfied with the services provided by Randy from CertaPro Painting Co. The team was punctual, professional, communicative, and maintained a clean work environment throughout the project. They were extremely thorough and delivered high-quality results. In particular, they did an excellent job addressing extensive smoke damage in an apartment caused by an occupant smoking inside the unit. The workmanship met and exceeded expectations. I would not hesitate to use CertaPro Painting Co. again and would recommend their services to others.

I hired CertaPro Painters of North Orlando Space Coast, FL to prep and paint the trim and fascia on my barn right after having it re-roofed. I expected a professional, long lasting paint job but instead, the work was careless and poorly executed. The boards were barely covered in paint, the backs of the boards were not primed or painted, and the joints were not caulked. Less than four years later, the new trim and fascia rotted and had to be replaced and painted which resulted in an unexpected, significant cost. When I contacted the company (Barbara Coleman) about the failure, they refused to acknowledge their mistakes or offer any compensation. To make matters worse, one of the painters told me that the workers had to buy their own paint, which likely explains why the application was so thin and inadequate.
This company shows a complete lack of quality control, integrity, and accountability. I strongly recommend avoiding CertaPro Painters of North Orlando Space Coast, FL for any painting project. You will save yourself a lot of time, frustration and unnecessary expense.

I had a friend who used CertaPro and was happy with the results. He gave me Shawn’s business card, and Shawn came over to provide an estimate. I explained that I wanted the house repainted with the same color and paint type that was previously used — no color changes. About two-thirds of my home is brick with aluminum-clad soffits. The rest includes wooden casement windows. I recently had a new roof and gutters installed, so all I needed was for the house to be repainted exactly as it currently is. I also have double front doors that did not need painting. Shawn told me I’d be getting one of his best crews — the same crew that painted my friend’s house — and quoted a price of $4,139. However, instead of a crew, one person showed up to do the entire job. To his credit, he did an excellent job. That’s not the issue. The issue is that it took him a total of 10 hours over three days to complete the work. (I confirmed this using my security camera footage, which shows when his truck arrived and left each day.) Two other companies had quoted me similar jobs, estimating about 10 gallons of paint at roughly $80 per gallon — around $800 in materials. That leaves $3,339 for labor, meaning I effectively paid $333 per hour for one person to paint my house. For that rate, I should be hiring Vincent van Gogh, not a one-man crew. I understand that CertaPro has overhead, but the painter arrived in an unmarked, rusted Chevy van that appeared to be his own vehicle. It took him several minutes of yanking on the cord just to get his old power washer started. So, I can safely assume CertaPro isn’t pouring much investment into its “fleet” or equipment. The real kicker came when I noticed they refused to paint the wooden frame surrounding my patio door. It’s a standard sliding glass patio door — two large panes of glass, one fixed and one movable, each surrounded by about 1¾ inches of wood. It would have taken maybe 10 minutes to paint, yet I was told that "wasn't included". For a $4,139 paint job, that kind of nickel-and-diming is unacceptable. The proposal even includes photos clearly showing that patio door and fixed window as part of the areas to be painted. Yes, I can paint it myself in 15 minutes — that’s not the point. The point is being charged an exorbitant amount for 10 hours of labor by one person, only to have minor details like that left unfinished. Because of this experience, I can say with confidence that I will never recommend CertaPro to anyone. I hope the 15 minutes they saved by skipping that frame was worth the lost referral.

Lazy work. I have drips that have dried. They didn't tape anything off so I have paint on my outlets and wall sconce. Thank goodness I had already removed the outlet covers or I'd have paint on those too. When I pay a professional to do a job I expect them to DO a professional job. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

EDIT: The company came out and fixed the issues. The new crew they sent did a great job fixing all the paint drips and cleaning up after the first crew. The room now looks nice.

Hiring SertaPro Painters was a huge mistake. They rushed the job from day one—my neighbors even saw them painting a second coat over a wet first coat just to finish faster. The interior of my one-car garage only got one coat, full of missed spots, and I still paid $1,000 for patchy, low-quality work.

The exterior is even worse. Within a year the paint bubbled, likely because they didn’t let it cure before it rained. Their “fix” was sanding and spot-painting, which left my aluminum siding with bare, textureless patches and obvious mismatched paint. After more rain, new bubbles appeared. They now blame “moisture behind the siding” and refuse to repaint properly—only offering more patch jobs.

Their warranty is worthless, and their communication is terrible. I’ve had to chase them down every single time; they never call back first. Most recently, they came on Sept. 23rd and said I’d hear from them in a day or two. It’s now Sept. 29th, and nothing.

The end result: a patchy, mismatched house, endless follow-ups, and no accountability. I’m now speaking with other painting companys and pursuing legal action to recover my money.

Do not hire SertaPro Painters. The warranty is a joke, the work is sloppy, and the customer service is nonexistent.

The team did a great job! We hired them to paint the entire main floor, which also required a good amount of repairs on walls and ceiling of some rooms. They were very professional and quick, and communicated every step of the process.

Isaac and his team did a fantastic job on our townhome. From start to finish, they were professional and courteous. Couldn’t find a speck of out-of-place paint (and I looked, haha)! Cindy went above and beyond to find a solution that met our scope needs and our budget! A sixth star is in order!

poor customer service never admitted to broken door knob would not recommend

The job was to start on Monday July 25th. At 11 am when no one was here I called in to find out that they were not coming as planned, instead they would be here on Tuesday. Apparently, something came up, I understand stuff happens, just inform us.

Our master bedroom isn't huge but has vaulted ceilings. The color we are covering is a very light shade like what we are using now, light blue to light green. They did not tape anything, did not protect the bedroom furniture which received paint splatter from rolling, did not remove the built-in vacuum plate, painting it on the edge. The cut in job was atrocious, paint on the ceiling around the room, paint on the trim (note baseboards are removed for flooring), insufficient paint in spots around the room due to not having enough paint on the brush or the roller.

When I pointed the issues out to the painter, he said they were told only 1 coat, yes 1 coat coverage. If done properly 1 coat is sufficient. He insisted it needed two coats even though most of what they had done was ok with one. When asking about the cutting in and the paint on the ceiling he said, "oh it was like that before, I have pictures". There were a few small spots the last CertaPro crew made last year (one of the hiccups) but not the entire room.

We painted my office ourselves with the same paint. The original color was a darker orange, and we used the same paint as the master. We had no problems at all with one coat coverage because we took our time and made sure the brushes and rollers always had paint on them (wet).

Kathleen contacted me and let me know the new crew would be here on Thursday morning 8:30 – 9 am. I showed the person what was needed with the basement paint and mater bedroom touch ups. He was surprised because he was told that he was only coming for touch ups. He was not prepared to cover furniture and was not aware the basement needed a full paint job. I was very surprised as both Dave and Kathleen knew what was going on.

He looked over everything in the master bedroom and made excuses as to why the coverage wasn’t good. One coat is not enough. I attempted to point out that 98% of the wall and cut in was good, he just insisted it needed two coats. He said we should just paint everything again. My response was “Whatever we just want it fixed”

I asked about how to fix the paint on the ceiling and as it is not currently painted they would have to paint the entire ceiling and then the walls again. I told him I would discuss it with Dave.
He came to my office and told me he would start upstairs because he needed permission to paint the basement. He then came back and said maybe we should just leave. I again reiterated we just want it fixed.

He was on the phone with someone and when he finished proceeded to pack up. I asked what was happening and he told me they were leaving. “You are angry and we do not need to put up with it so we are leaving” Let’s say I was shocked and now getting angry over this whole thing.

My mother-in-law was present through this and can attest to the fact I was calm and not angry at all. Until they were leaving with no work being done.

I tried to call Dave 4 times, he responded via text once saying he would call me right back. He never answered any calls or texts, never got back to me. I tried Kathleen 4 times, no answer, no return call.

Jen (the owner) called me back to talk about it and find out what happened. I went through the details and told her as I did the second painter that if things needed to be adjusted invoice wise I would talk to Dave. We are not opposed to paying a little extra, things happen. Jen said she would call me back right away. That was 9:30 am, it is now 1:45 pm.

I managed to find another company to finish the job before the flooring next week. I would never recommend CertaPro. They are extremely unprofessional.

I love the organization and more importantly the values the staff and owners represent every day. The home and property service space is ripe for tremendous growth and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great company.

Work was rushed and as a result areas agreed upon were not completed unless we pointed it out.
I was provided a timeline that was not adhered to and poor excuses were offered as to why painters did not return the next day as promised.

Not enough care was taken to protect floor spaces (tiles & hard wood floor), and stair bannisters resulting in paint splatter. We then had to go through and clean areas to remove paint. Not professional work. Not impressed.

Three wall electrical switch plates were over tightened resulting in cracked plates. I pointed this out and they were replaced. But why would someone overtighten one wall plate and then overtighten a second one, then do it again a third time. Bewildering !. Overall Impression is inconsistent quality and missed areas such as baseboards door trims.

One more one star review! It’s more of a technology company than a painting company. Local franchise (Chicagoland) has destroyed the company. You WILL BE abandoned by them! Go to your local hardware stores bulletin board and grab the business card of a local painter!

Will use again. Easy and quick estimate, scheduled quickly, On time and friendly and efficient workers. Painting job was done well, no mess. quick clean up and everything put back in its place.

cannot paint properly an exterior door. They have tried a couple of times to repair, but still bubbles. And now they blaming me the door is old and needs to be replaced. They do not look for solutions but excuses. If you do not want stress and more expenses, avoid this painting contractor. they are unprofessional and incompetent. see their attached work as a proof. Now I have to do it myself at my own expense.
