CET Avis 

1 star is still 1 to many to award CET for their very poor customer services I had the misfortune to call upon their services I called CET alleged home emergency service on the 11/08/26 HE-1212405. explained to the agent I had a wasp nest possible in the house or outside near 1st floor window he asked if there was any Vulnerability issues I informed my son is severely allergic to wasps a sting can trigger anaphylaxis—a life-threatening medical emergency he advised they will try to attend the same day or next I received a text advising they would attend on the 13/08/26 called CET to expedite this no clear advice given just advised they would call back no call ever received called CET explained the issue regards my son and discussed the cover for 2 nights accommodation they said I could have accommodation under my cover they would call me no call back chased and chased finally got response their 3rd party icab is dealing with accommodation they will be in touch no call back finally after 7 calls managed to get hold of icab who advised 2 nights of accommodation is available for 2 nights for 4 members including one 5 yr old child they tried to book me into Travelodge in Greenwich when I stayed there on a previous visit there was a sewage leak with sewage water coming from the ceiling so I would not stay there they then moved me to a premier inn 2 room were provided as advised them my son works night and would back at 11 in morning to sleep ICAB advised me to call back in morning and the stay would be extended as previously discussed called back in morning and advised by ICAB and CET we would need to vacate rooms at 12 check out time they said don’t worry they will extend stay and wait there and they will call back to call back I chased ICAB and CET both blaming each for admin issues I explained to them again my son is on route to hotel and sleep after night shift I had to check out of hotel as no call back received from anyone my son had no choice but to sleep in the car in 32 degree temp made numerous calls to CET and ICAB still blaming each other received a call very late afternoon from Nathan CET advising accommodation for another would not be available as the budget would not allow even though they promised me 2 nights accomdation Nathan had no customer service skills no empathy when I said to him my son is sleeping in his car in this heat I requested a manager call back a manager called Idris called back no customer service skill hiding behind policy no concern shown to son’s vulnerable situation this was very upsetting lack of concern and empathy had a mocking mannerism don’t care attitude in the meantime no urgency to escalate pest control visit finally on the 13/08/26 no prior call of attendance to discuss eta as advised by CET trade-man turned up and advised he can’t do job as he does not have a ladder even though I advised CET issue was on 1st floor tradesman advised they were not allowed to carry ladder they will came back received a voice message from Amar CET on the 13/08/26 that further works are required even though no works were carried out just a ladder was needed and they will be touch 15/08/26 received a voice mail from Hayley CET that further works had been approved and they would be in touch with a date received a call 17/08/26 from Vadiya CET further works have been approved no works were carried out a ladder was required and they will be in touch with a date I have requested manager call back CET need to understand customers in vulnerable situations need to be treated with respect and care and not promised things which CET have no intention of fulfilling totally dismayed at lack of service and care, shame on CET for providing such a poor service

That was just easy to get in touch the engineer came and very quick find out what’s the problem

Excellent. Quick call back straight after I logged the job, text the next morning confirming engineer on the way. Call from engineer confirming time. Came, saw & fixed. All sorted in less than 24 hours from noticing the boiler was dead.

CET through Howdens came to fit a replacement toilet cistern. Worked fine for a couple of days then flooded the bathroom and kitchen. Second 'engineer' came to fix the issue and butchered the cabinet to make a bodge repair. Flooded bathroom and kitchen again, third 'engineer' confirmed last person had bodged it and would need to send someone else to fix the cabinet. CET refused to do anything else and took 3 weeks to deal with complaint. Still refusing to make good on bodged repair, all the time having no flushing toilet and now having to replace entire unit. Awful company.

Insurance company used CET to repair a leak. The said they spoke to Tennant (who want even around) and said “recent building work was undertaken that’s why leak happened. That is itself NOT true… now it’s becoming increasingly difficult to get claim accepted

The engineer arrived within the time frame. He was extremely cheerful & efficient. He quickly resolved the problem and explained the probably cause.

Quick response to my problem. The man was lovely . He solved the problem very quickly.

Stay away from this firm they cant arrange anything.

Fantastic, professional response!
​Had an issue with power tripping caused by a leaking boiler. The boiler engineer fixed the leak and flagged the electrical risk, and Home Emergency quickly dispatched an electrician who made everything completely safe.
​Both engineers were absolute professionals, and customer service on the phone was polite and supportive throughout. Outstanding service, couldn't ask for more!
