Chris is just amazing at his job. Picks up everything and puts it into a format the developers cannot Riggle out of. Brilliant service from start to finish and would recommend to everyone. Please do not buy a new build without professional snagging - I’m a former plumber and would have had a right mess of house without Chris’s advise and report.

Contacted Chris on his Instagram after stalking his profile for a bit. Straight away was attentive and quick at answering any questions I had about the snagging process so I was eager to snap him up for our anticipated completion date. Again, throughout Chris was bang on, he answered quickly and thoughtfully and explained building terms that would have otherwise gone over our heads. Our completion was the 15th December and Chris being the legend that he is was able to fit our inspection in on the morning of our move!! Not only did he have to put up with the inspection of our new home, but us and the in-laws asking questions and moving in, and comparing our spirit level lengths 😂😜 Again, Chris was amazing throughout and explained to us any serious issues with the house and what we should be expecting from the developers. His report was incredibly thorough and precise. Even since the move, Chris has been there to answer any questions we have. We will 1000000% be having Chris back for our end of warranty inspection. Still thank my stars for crossing path with Chris. Considering the number of issues related to buying a new build has always made us feel uneasy buying one, in as much that everything looks shining and perfect when the keys are handed over to the owner. Chris helped us navigate our fears when we got the keys to our 4 bedroom detached house by been thorough with his survey around the house. He found a lot of issues (few major issues & lots of cosmetic issues) that would have cost us a lot of money on the long run which we are grateful for and also liaise with the developer on how best to resolve the major issues.

Chris is well knowledgeable when it comes to building inspections and well versed in what the NHBC standards says for every part of a house. Will recommend him anyday anytime as he is helping us make our new house or home.

Chris recently snagged our new build home and we cannot thank him enough. He found over 200 snags, some urgent and some not but definitely things we would not have found ourselves. Chris from CG New Build Snagging , took over the snagging process for our house after another company had initially completed it. During the investigation, Chris went above and beyond, dedicating an entire day from 9:00 to 17:00. He uncovered crucial information that the initial snagging company had missed. Many of Chris's findings were pivotal, and he even offered to represent the customer with his technical expertise in cases where there was resistance from the housing developers. It's truly impressive to witness his knowledge of new builds; he knows exactly where to look to identify any corners that may have been cut or standards not met. We had Chris snag our house in October he is an all round top guy. Super friendly, easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, he was very thorough whilst inspecting our house, very trustworthy we left the house for a couple of hours whilst he done his survey without a worry about him being left in the house. We recently had Chris round to do a snagging report on our new build property. He was very professional, pleasant and efficient. He took the time to explain everything to us. He found leaks in the bathroom and central heating system and liaised with the trades personnel that were sent round to deal with the issues. He was a calming influence to us when we were feeling overwhelmed by some of the issues he was finding.
He is providing ongoing support to us and liaising with the developer in regards to rectification of some of the serious issues he found.
On top of all of this he has been just a lovely guy to deal with.

From start to finish I could not be more pleased with the service that Chris provided.
He is very knowledgable and a true professionalist which you will notice as soon as he comes through the door. His attention to details is incredible and you will be surprised what he can spot without even using any tools. I was truly amazed.
His inspection was very thourough and took couple of hours. All the way he has been explaining to me what/why/how things are checked and patiently answered all questions I had.
His report contains links to regulations which is a great help if you need to raise issues with the developer. He was also very kind and for a quick referance has marked in the house (with a little post it notes) certain issues that would be hard to spot so again so much easier to explain to developer, especially on the white walls. All the info is of course contained in the final report as well.
He has taken photos which are also included in the report which is divided in sections so you know right away what is a cosmetic and what is a major/construction issue that must be resolved so it meets building regulations.
Chris went above and beyond to help me and I am so pleased I have listened to other customers who booked his expertise service.
He is very friendly, cultured and knows his craft really well.
Communication has been great and I was kept in the loope at all times. Chris has messaged to confirm booking, he then messaged again a day befor to confirm and kept me updated on the progress of the report, which has been done same day in the evening.

So happy with the work Chris has done on snagging our 3 bed detached house. He recorded 257 snags, all photographed and written up less than 24 hours after leaving our property, super impressed.
A number of major snags were unveiled and Chris helped us right these wrongs with the site manager within 48 hours. If it wasn't for Chris, I dread to think the amount of time, effort and cost these would take to repair in the future when they were finally uncovered.

Chris the hero to the rescue, Can I give him 12 stars please? He deserves all the stars in the sky. I'm so grateful to God that Chris did the snag in my house. He found over 200. He arrived early for the investigation. Chris said that he would be with us on this journey and he meant it big time (incredible man!). During the fixes he was in contact and provided guidance day & night. On multiples times he had to provide instructions for the developer to rectify specific issues that weren't done accordingly. He is one of a kind! The world is a better place, because of Chris. Chris is honest, reliable, hardworking, thorough, professional and I have recommended him to our new neighbours. I've booked Chris again to reassess the house after all the fixes is complete.

Chris was great in identifying issues at our newbuild. He undertook a through inspection (8hrs) and compiled a concise list which we forwarded to the developer on receipt. The reason I chose Chris was that he explains why an issue is an issue inline with regulations and warranties and not on just an opinion. Being able to peg back snags is essential as the developer will try to get out of undertaking them. To date it is the best money spent to protect my investment and would recommend any new home owner to undertake one, and of course use CG Newbuild.

Buying a house is one of the biggest investments you will make and with purchasing a new build you expect it to be pretty much perfect. Hiring Chris to complete a snag on our new build was a no brainer. Knowing that your house has been thoroughly checked by a professional and the evidence report that you receive post snag to provide back to your developer puts your mind at ease even if there are more than just minor snags! Chris was well worth the peace of mind! He found over 200 snags, was very thorough even on a Sunday morning!!! Even did a quick revisit the same day to make sure he had photos of a particular snag which was a massive money saver as we had 2 leaks in both shower and bathrooms going through to floors on the next floor!
