Chatters Hair Salon - Durham Centre Avis 611

In the fall of 2025 I randomly chose Raj at Chatter Salon Ajax to take me from shoulder length hair to a pixie cut. She did a great job and I have continued with Raj for 4 followup hair trims. Raj listens to her clients, is very skilled and friendly. She is now my go to hairdresser.

It's my first time to come here. I booked online to get my daughter's haircut initially. When we got there, I asked if they have an open spot while my daughter is getting her haircut (I didn't see any spot avail online same time as her). Loved that they were able to accommodate me last minute! I got a haircut, my hair coloured and treatment I am very happy with the outcome! I definitely will come back again. Infact I already have my next appt set! Everyone was friendly. Great experience overall!

Left with my hair still wet. Ended up getting charged more than originally told even though I booked for long thick hair. Paid $90 for a trim and to leave with my “styled hair” wet and frizzy.

Great stylist who knows and understand hair (Sydney). All staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was great. Price was reasonable. Will come back for sure.

Catarina gave me a perm and a cut today and she did a fabulous job of it. She is very friendly and is very easy to talk with. Chatters is very clean and bright. All the girls working there are friendly and will also speak with you.
All in all, I highly recommend Chatters for a great experience and also Catarina is a fabulous hairdresser.

Raj was amazing. She was so patient with my kids during their cut. Some of the senior staff at the front weren't as helpful or resourceful. They almost sounded like I was inconveniencing them by asking questions.

Love the ability to book online and with the stylist I want! I also like that I can see my appointment history

I went in for partial highlights today. Raj did an amazing job with a generous amount of foils to blend my greys. She made sure to listen to what I wanted which is a critical part of good customer service. I wanted subtle highlights and she delivered. She took her time to blow dry my hair straight so that I could leave the salon with beautiful hair. I appreciate that I did not feel rushed. I am very happy with the final results.

Sydney was friendly and really took the time to cut my hair making the most for my curls. I am very happy with my hair!

Kyra makes the experience great. She listens to exactly what you prefer. She makes great recommendations too on not just hair but also products. And she's really easy to talk too. Highly recommend.
