Bad Customer Service

For the past two weeks, I have attempted to access my account but have been unsuccessful. I can't even deactivate my account because I still have a recurring payment there, and the customer service is awful.

At first, I rated it one star. However, since my problem has been resolved, I am updating to 3.

Unreliable with Sketchy Support

When it works, it is great. The problem is that recently their systems are not working. Cards are not charged (and they tell you it is your card's problem), and then they restrict your account, which comes with a 3-5 business day review - like that helps when the rent is due! "Support" is chatbot-based, and when you do get a human, you are told to check it out yourself. Frankly, the lack of system reliability means that one should be careful about using this service for time-sensitive payments. And to think you pay 1.75% of the bill for this...

Ineffective and very slow customer support

For a company that prints free money by providing a basic technological service (which is, subtracting funds from a credit card and taking a small piece of the transaction), their customer service is extremely slow and ineffective.

They are too small to be so helpless, this early.

I'll just use my city's 1.75% fee credit card processor instead. Account deleted.

I had an issue with my rent

I had an issue with my rent. my landlord changed banks. I was late 1 day with payment and I wanted to have my rent sent out quickly. I was helped by Vee platfrom expert at Chexy. Was helpful, quick and efficient. I have been using them for a few years and trusted with rent payment.

Great but kinks need to addressed

Great company where you can make payments via a credit card. However, it's very new and there's quite a few kinks that need to be worked out. For example, it's not possible to add your Aeroplan number until your first payment. That first payment only includes bills and not an Income tax one-off payment. However, if you are using their services to pay income tax then once you've made the payment, it will then allow you to add your aeroplan number. This is really strange and doesn't make sense why they don't allow to it from the get go.

Overall, great they have good fees to use credit card but they need to invest in making the user experience better for customers.

Chexy has been great

Chexy has been great, I have been able to save up just that extra bit of cash for doing nothing extra. I was paying rent before and I am paying rent now.

Love Chexy!

I signed up with my Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite and got 4% cashback on my first rent payment! Had an issue onboarding and was helped by the support team very quickly!

Started using Chexy 8 months ago and…

Started using Chexy 8 months ago and it’s been the best decision ever!! I’ve been able to book my flight to Spain this year for free with the points I’ve earned from using my credit card (Amex plat). Literally have been wanting thousands of points every month, I’ll probably never need to pay for a flight in cash again.

Amazing experience with chexy!

My experience paying rent with chexy has been amazing. Now I never have to keep track of my rent date and paying my landlord since chexy would do that on behalf of me. The whole process is easy, rent gets paid on time, i also collected a huge point on my Amex card & their customer support is too quick! Really surprised but, this is a game changer product in the market. Kudos!

Can't believe we didn't have this sooner!

Credit card rewards on rent... what more do I need to say? I've been dying for a way to pay my rent with my Amex for years without the usual 3% processing fee. Chexy does still impose a 1.75% fee but honestly a bargain when consider the upside for business class redemption. Also... don't have to keep setting reminders to pay my landlord in my landlord every month -- underrated bonus 🤣 Hope this sticks around.

Chexy newcomer

Chexy user since Feb 2024 and so far it’s going well. I started paying my rent with a credit card and so far it’s helping me off at $50 a month.
