Chicago Architecture Tour Avis

The speaker was incredible! My wife and I had an amazing time! I told my wife the I was going to take a nap because this was going to be a snooze fest. (This was more of a "her thing" than it was a "me thing".) I am glad to say that I was wrong. The speaker was very interactive, and engaging. We were able to get some amazing photos due to him knowing exactly when and where the boat was going to be in the best position! A+ Experience!

As advertised. Easy to find and was a great experience. Do not hesitate to book this tour.

Absolutely the best thing we did while in Chicago. Our guide, Sarah, was fantastic. What a great way to see the city and learn about Chicago's architecture, river, and history!

This is the 4th river architecture cruse I’ve taken and by FAR the best. Haley shared such unique history of the river way, the indigenous people and the politics of Chicago that everyone was hanging on every word. She is a gem and a great representation of making everyone feel welcomed. I will always recommend the evening First Lady cruise! Thank you for an amazing 90-minute experience :) Greg from CO

Dave was a legend! No pun was safe. I learned an incredible amount about this iconic city!

Our guide was wonderful, weather was perfect, and the ride went smoothly.

The crew was friendly and professional. John was a great host; knowledgable, entertaining, engaging, instructive. The tour was better than I thought it would be. I learned A LOT!!! They even have a bathroom, coffee, and bar in the lower deck. The 90-minutes was a perfect amount of time for the whole experience. It was so much more than an architectural tour. It was a history tour, a luxury condo sales tour, a river cruise, a Chicago fire tour, a bridge physics tour , and a way to know the streets and bridges. I will definitely recommend this tour and John.

Alyssa was great! Knowledgeable, engaging, funny, and on and on.

Superb tour. Extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Well organised, but I’d advise arriving early as suggested so you can get your choice of seats - latecomers there’s no guarantee you can get your preferred seat or stay together as a group. Kenny is a showman and a joy to listen to! Highly recommended

Our tour guide was wonderful. The tour was the perfect amount of time and I loved getting to explore all branches of the river. Enjoyed the offering of beverages as well.

Excellent cruise, professional staff and knowledgeable narrator! Despite the rain we had a blast and got excellent photos!

Great guide, clean boats.

Not only was the tour guide Kenny very knowledgeable, but also funny and made the tour more fun and enjoyable (it was kind of chilly). Would definitely recommend to future tourists! Do the 90min ride!

Our guide was exceptional!

The speaker was focusing on price and financial information of the buildings without going through more architecture insights.
In addition, she spoke very fast and it was hard to understand what she was saying (I have been living and working in the US for 20 years and I could understand only 60% of it). I had a guest from Italy who had a very hard time enjoying the tour.

Oh my gosh, this is a must to do if you are in Chicago. So much rich history and the views from the boat were spectacular. Dave was extraordinarily professional and his knowledge of the different architectural styles within each building was very inspiring. He made a joke in the beginning that the tour was gonna be 3 hours long and I wouldn’t have mind it at all.

The entire experience was fantastic! Booking was effortless, the check-in location was easy to find, and the tour was an absolute blast! Bobby was a perfect balance of funny (punny- one might even say he rocks; best not take him for granite!) and educational. Even in the rain, it was a highlight of our time in Chicago.

One of our party was ill the day of the tour - we didn't want to cancel but just reschedule to next week. Impossible and no flexibility to do so

We'll try to be more thoughtful the next time and schedule our daughter's ear infection at a more convenient time.

This tour oversells tickets and our party of three was unable to sit on the upper deck. Although they advertise a “climate controlled lower deck”, if you are forced to sit on the lower deck, you are unable to hear the tour guide due to poor speakers and engine noise. You also are unable to see anything on the opposite side of the boat. This was a complete waste of our money. Also, the staff that checks you in was unfriendly and unhelpful.

All of the staff and crew were friendly and helpful. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and delightful. I learned so much! We left on time and had a lovely ride. All in all a great experience.
