Chichester Holiday Properties Avis 

The service before our stay was extraordinary and the instructions in the flat were very useful. It was so fantastic with the parking in the basement, could not have been better. The flat contained everything we needed and we had my parents over for breakfast every day. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Large gorgeous house (think Bridgerton!! 😊) well maintained for its age and the age of the furniture. All with in keeping with the house.

Piano was added extra and kept one of our teenagers entertained for the few days we were there. As did the pool table for the other children and adults.

Did have slight problem with showers for so many. Having spent all one day on beach (would recommend West Wittering) and one day at theme park (Poultons Park for all ages) we all needed showers but hot water ran out. So some had to have cold showers even though we staggered them through the evening.

This property is in the centre of Chichester a short walk from the shops and restaurants. There was plenty of room to accommodate large groups and not get under each others feet. Parking nearby if allocated parking is full (4 spaces provided on site). Families are accommodated with a highchair, cot, baby seat, and baby pack of essentials on request. Communication with the owner was very efficient.

Huge house. We were a party of 12 ladies so plenty of room for us. Carpets a little tired. Kitchen isn’t massive for a house of this size but perfectly adequate for us. Lounge areas very nice. Pool table. Piano. Beds very comfy. They can be splits from large beds to twins. Nice garden but it is bordered by ground floor flats so you have to be mindful of making too much noise because of them. Perfect location for walking to shops as extremely near. Highly recommended.

Thank you for such a wonderful 2 week stay! Everything was so very easy from the minute we booked. The studio was lovely and warm, clean and so quiet. The children enjoyed the tennis court and zip wire in the garden. Beds comfy, WiFi great, clean and tidy when we arrived. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

It's a lovely sized cottage & garden, in a beautiful setting, ideal for my large family to be able to celebrate Christmas together & it was well equipped with everything you need .
The downside is, that the whole cottage is very tired looking, not like the photos depict, with very uncomfortable beds & furniture. The upstairs bathroom needs updating as the radiator is very rusty but it looks like faeces, so is quite off putting. Also the drawers in the annexe bedroom were broke & I paid extra money for the pool to be heated but it was absolutely freezing.

What an amazing house. We were a group of 12, adults and kids. The house is amazing, dated and modern in one, with an amazing pool and big garden that kept the kids entertained for hours.
We loved the treasures you get with a dated property but also the lush facilities where they modernised.
Our kids had a blast whether in the pool, playing in the garden or playing hide and seek in the massive house.
And us adults had a blast just relaxing, talking, eating drinking and enjoying a lovely place.
Would recommend and would 100% stay here again.

Laura reached out to us from the time of booking, just prior to arrival, during our stay and on departure and always tried to accommodate any of our requests where possible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Thatched cottage and can highly recommend it for a get together with an extended family.

If you are looking for a property full of character but that still has all "mod cons" then I can highly recommend this one.

Enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, well-equipped and well-situated flat on the edge of Chichester city centre. Booking was easy and communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. It's a short walk to the city centre and to the Fishbourne Roman Villa. Also just off a main road, so easy to get to other sites in West Sussex and Hampshire. The only gripe would be that it's a little tired in places (curtains off their hooks in the large bedroom; flaking paint in bathroom; peeling laminate on kitchen cabinet doors) and it wouldn't take much time and effort to spruce it up a bit.

I had a very good time in Chichester in your appartement. Thank you. I wish i come back soon.

We LOVED our stay at The Nest! The grounds were absolutely stunning, the location was ideal and the house was impeccable. Clare and her family were lovely and inviting, and ensured we had everything we needed for our nice departure from the city. There was plenty to do in Chichester, but it was also nice to just look out into the lush, green area surrounding the Nest. Cannot wait to visit again! Highly recommend.

Amazing time for a getaway with a big group. The amenities if you get on Summer is the massive open air swimming pool in the garden. The stay for 14 had enough beds.

The house was immaculate and the kitchen was good. The thatched roof house itself is amazing site to cherish with many hidden design features.

Car parking for 3 cars easily with co-op just opposite the property helps when you need it. The kids had a great time with their hampers and also if you need baby cots sorted by the efficient team before you arrive and amazing host, Laura who was very responsive. We got our time in the serene part of the country thanks to you. Thanks again team.

Me & my partner stayed here over the Winter as we had to evacuate our home due to flooding, we ended up staying for just under 8 months & enjoyed every moment! The location is only 8 mins drive to Chichester town centre, yet when you’re at the cottage you feel like you’re out in the countryside with it being so silent and peaceful. The cottage has the most AMAZING garden and grounds! We absolutely loved spending time outside in the pool and on the tennis courts. Inside the cottage is lovely and spacious, and pet friendly too which was a bonus for us having 4 house rabbits! We just loved staying here and will 100% be back again in the future should we need a place to stay.

Would highly recommend coming here over the Christmas period, it felt like we were in a house from the movies!
