I found out more information from this site than any others I looked at. I needed a little information about this property

useful summary of the area - would have saved me hours of searching myself!

Chimnie have now exceeded my expectations, after I initially had a very difficult experience when trying to use their site, as the information was a little confusing and a bit misleading.
I was trying to search for pre-market properties and had entered the site on the 'search properties' page.
Unfortunately, there was no clear distinction made between which properties were purely for report purposes and which were the pre-market ones. I made the mistake of getting quite excited about two potential properties which were not actually pre-market ones.
As it happens, any pre-market ones could only be accessed via the Plus membership, not the Lite membership.
Also, there had been some very misleading comments and links when viewing individual properties via the Lite account.
I wrote my initial review on Trustpilot, explaining my frustration and disappointment, and received a reply from the team, asking to chat with me about my experience.
I suspected it was just one of those polite replies, where they then attempt to defend and justify everything, whilst actually having no intention of making any changes whatsoever.
However - I was totally wrong!
I was contacted by the founder of Chimnie, and we had a long, friendly chat. They were totally open to listening to customers' opinions and very sorry about any confusion caused. They were eager to make whatever changes necessary to clarify information and make it a better experience when using the website.
They same day they sent me images of how the changes will look and operate, once implemented.
Well done to Chimnie for being so customer-focussed and open to review of practice!
They are lovely people, eager to please, and offer a great range of services - everything that could be needed when buying or selling a home, including some that cannot be found elsewhere. The pre-market feature is especially helpful.
I will definitely continue to use their services until I have managed to find and secure my new home, and would happily recommend them to others.

Great idea for a broken property market
I used it to get an approx value for a property I have in Uk as I’m thinking of selling at some point.

Data quite extensive. Wish you had told what floor each apartment is.

I echo other people's experience with this website. We received an unsolicited letter from an unknown person saying they'd seen that our property was for sale. Which isn't correct. After responding to them it seems the information was sourced from this website. After some digging I would recommend people avoid such a website and their dodgy looking revenue generating processes.

Great to look up to see desired properties in desired areas

They have information I could not find anywhere else. So far it has been the most useful website for making my own research on good property investment opportunities. I was able to find a hidden gem that was not on the market, and they helped with finding the owner (as it happens, the property is rented out at the moment) so I could start the negotiation.

Chimnie please can you respond as I cant seem to contact any other way.
Have the houses on your website ever been or likely to be on the market? I signed up because I wanted to look at some properties but it seemed to want my details of my house first - I dont want to advertise it yet, I am just looking and now my house is on your site, I dont want it to be and I dont want to have to pay to remove it.
What is the £25 fee for??? I dont want any legal documents applying for or checking on my behalf - I just want to be able to contact owners to see if the houses ARE ACTUALLY ones which are considering being sold or just people who have been duped to have their houses on here? I want info on the houses, room sizes etc I dont want to pay £25 for something which is of no value to me when I all I want is info. I have to pay this for EVERY query I was to make? If someone was interested in my house (which I cant remove) they will have to waste £25 to get the answer "its not for sale". If they arent looking at selling due I get each £25 back. A lot of the houses are just images from Google Street Maps so 100's of those could be created to get £25 for each query. How do I know what is genuine and what is a mistake or not proper.
In one of your responses on here, it says its FREE to contact people....how do i get that, it wants £25 off of my to send a 150 character message.

So far the website has been really easy to use and not like anything i've seen done before. It's so much fun to create a wish list of potential dream homes. With the addition of having hundreds more properties to browse images of, I can get a better idea of what i'm looking for.

Finally, someone's done what home owners (and buyers) have been crying out for - cut out the estate agents fees and waffle. Bravo Chimnie - I've listed and await my first nibble.

It's hard to believe that a company that connects home owners without the need for a real estate agent is new. Chimnie does what most people have been wanting to do for ages. The user experience is phenomenal: fast loading, tons of information and every single house listed for search. Glad to see the company growing and hope they expand to other countries fast.

I have long wanted to be able get in touch directly with property owners before they put their property on the market ( estate agents do this all the time by putting cards through your door asking you to get in touch). This new website is a great new service that does just that. V useful and reliable

Amazing platform that is definitely ahead of it's time. This is where the property industry needs to be headed. No manipulation of the market, no 'hidden' inventories, no psychological tricks to make unwitting home owners and buyers pay more than necessary.

Finally a smooth, modern and much necessary platform for real estate, fixing all the problems this industry has. First, the expensive costs for intermediation. My experience with chimnie so far is 5 stars. Recommended unless you like to waste your money with intermediation in 2022...
