Queues, reduced stafing and high prices

I used this company for a fit to fly and Day 2 test about 3 weeks ago with no problem. But now they have cut their testing staff in Oxford Westgate from 9 to 4, and the queues are terrible.

The University of Oxford recommended these people but I'm afraid I will be going elsewhere. They cut staff and keep customers waiting to make more money.

Their helpline is disaster - the agents just tell you to use the website.

Worked for this company

Worked for this company, it was the worst experience I have ever had. They create instances, lie and fabricate the truth. They don't look after their staff hence the high turn over of scientists, the things I saw take place whilst working there were border line illegal if not illegal. The customers don't get the service they pay for, and all these people care about is money, and that's in their own words. The treatment of veterans and disregard for mental health issues to the point of saying "you are not a good fit for the company due to your PTSD issues" is disgusting. This company left 3 veterans feeling suicidal and one veteran attempting suicide after their treatment and lies.

better known as Expresstest,designed entirely to rip off clients there has been so many complaints and refunds owed they now have there own online shopping catalogue where you can spend a voucher they give instead of a cash refund,a check on the company Directors will tell you the whole story ,my recent experience at their office in Gatwick Airport (along with at least 8 other travelers)resulted in some staff apologising for being party to ripping us off, I am in the process of developing a class action lawsuit .please watch out for details soon

refund owed!

have been emailing to try and get a refund / credit for a cancelled booking and get no response. out of pocket £120! please reply to my emails - this is not good customer service! happy to amend review once you have actually resolved this issue!

Extremely Poor Service and Useless Helpline!

I booked from France on my phone for a check up on return. Having received no confirmation to my phone and luckily I had my laptop with me I had to go to a neighbour and connect to their wifi. I then found out I was confirmed for Heathrow drive in rather than Gatwick. I immediately send an email saying my mistake and could they please book me into Gatwick. I had heard nothing and then got an email saying this was not possible and they would cancel the appointment, issue a credit note to which I agreed. I then chased and chased the credit note, spoke to three people who all said the same thing that it was above their pay grade and the matter would be escalated to a supervisor. At 11.30pm the night before I was due to have the test the credit note arrived. Then I went to re-book at Gatwick but all the morning slots had gone and so ended up with an early morning slot at Heathrow. l received no apology. But basically their helpline cannot help as they have no power to get things done.

Absolutely uselss

Absolutely uselss. I took a PCR test at Heathrow T3 in July and was told that results may not get to me until 10pm the next day. Fair enough, I was warned BUT I never got my results at all!!! Fortunately I decided to fork out for a very expensive test with another clinic and got my results within two hours. If I had relied on Cignpost diagnostics, I would have missed my flight and wasted money on a train journey and the bureaucratic nightmare of applying for another visa to my destination.
I duly complained, got my results (too bloody late) and a apology. I was told that my credit card wasn't charged but surprise surprise, it was. I have been asking for a refund for nearly three weeks now it after the initial reply, they haven't even bothered to contact me. Avoid this company like the PLAGUE!

Cignpost Express Test

Last week, Thursday 17 June, I had to use the Cignpost Express testing facilities at Heathrow T5. The whole team were amazing, especially Sakakja, who went above and beyond his duties to ensure my check in/paperwork was completed correctly, whilst looking after my luggage. I was very impressed with the friendly yet professional service that I received. The entire team were focused on providing an excellent service, fully aware of my time restraints, and they could not have been more helpful. They were knowledgeable, even taking the time and patience to explain the whole procedure. I received my result within the time advised and was able to catch my flight. Thank you for the excellent service.

Disappointing experience with the Express Test…

Odd experience with the Express Test company set-up to profit from the requirements for Covid test when traveling, booked and completed test on the way out to a Green Portugal before the switch to Amber. Can we do trust pilot of Boris and his government?. Got an email quote for the return journey £129 day two and Day 8 test and £169 to include the Day 5 test to release. I’ve managed NHS National testing contracts with Pathology labs in various ways for years so “Oh well”. This testing malarkey is a licence to print money but the test centre is handy and we don’t have much option. Went on-line to book only to find that the £169 is a “from” indication and the test pack is £249. Gave the call centre a call (30 plus minute wait) only to be told it all depended on where you have been, where you get the test done and it’s gone up. “Make a complaint on line and they will get back to you”.
Made the complaint and booked the basic day two and day 8 (that hasn’t gone up and booking the day five on it’s own appears to be cheaper than the package price hmmm).
No acknowledgement of the complaint and no response up until this afternoon when we boarded the plane - I will update you)
Checked the email confirmation of my our test to find we have day two booked but no day eight even though it’s a package.
So another wait on the phone for a nice young lady to take down my details and email them to someone who can issue the day eight codes as customer service can’t actually action anything and don’t really know how it works but someone who does will definitely get back to me in a couple of hours as it’s an escalation so before I fly...... er no. No acknowledgment no copy of my query. No response. I have no doubt I will be asking what is going on when I go for day two test and the answer will be call customer service again. I will let you know.

Honestly I would pay premium prices for great local service and no worries, sadly not Available from this team that appear to have been set up specifically to take advantage of the captive test customers - you had one job. To deliver this test service well at an advertised premium price. Instead they appear to be attempting to gouge the customers on price while skimping on the service
