This is a scam site. Shop is not based in Galway and refunds are NOT available as advertised. The dress arrived after 2 weeks and was a totally different colour and so cheap looking, straight from Temu.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. Purchased a dress in pale green, received a dark green dress, that was nothing like the picture. I have received better quality from Temu. I ordered it thinking it was an Irish company, how wring was I.
When I emailed to say that I received the wrong dress and wanted to return it, I was offered 10% refund of the cost, then 20%, the 30%. I told them I did not want the dress, it was not the one I ordered and I shouldn't have to pay for the return postage of a dress that I didnt order. I had to pay for my return shipping, €22.00, returning it to China. 😡

Total scam!!!! Do not buy. Never arrived, automated emails, no way to get your money back .

Absolute scam, sent the wrong dress and offered 10% discount and then 20% discount. Playing email tennis with whoever is emailing back as I refuse to pay international shipping for their mistake. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! I should've read reviews before buying 🙄

The picture of "Claire" on the website is almost certainly AI generated. Her profile claims she studied Fashion & Design and worked in various boutiques but does not list a single name or location.
A check of the domain "clairewalshgalway.com" reveals it was only set up in February 2026 yet they claim to be in existence over 10 years.

All clothes shipped from China. Cheap plastic.

This website is a pure scam, operating as an Irish company based in Galway, NOT THE CASE.
I ordered a dress that arrived and it was nothing like what I ordered, wrong colour and even the pattern was different, it had threads everywhere and it came from China!!!It was completely creased and could not be ironed due to the material so I couldn’t wear it even if I wanted to!!! When I contacted them to return it they said it was at my cost to return it overseas which was €22, they offered me €8 snd said I could keep it. I told them no that I wanted a full refund. No correspondence since, think I’ll have to accept I was scammed. Always check returns policy if you have never bought from a website.

This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve had.
The website and branding heavily imply that Claire Walsh Galway is an Irish boutique shipping from Ireland, especially when advertising “free shipping within Ireland.” At no point was it made clear that the item was actually being shipped from overseas with very long delivery times.
I ordered an outfit for a specific event and waited nearly two weeks with very little useful communication. Customer service responses felt generic, scripted, and avoided directly answering questions about where the item was coming from or when it would realistically arrive.
When the outfit finally arrived, it looked NOTHING like the photos on the website. The quality was shockingly poor — thin cheap fabric, poor finishing, completely different fit and appearance, and honestly looked like a low-cost imitation of the advertised product.
I feel completely misled by the advertising and overall presentation of this business. Customers are clearly being given the impression they are ordering from a genuine Irish boutique, when in reality this appears to operate very differently.

This so called Irish company is a joke, waited over 2 weeks for package, want to return the dresses because they arrived to late and I have to send them back to China which costs a fortune, they have offered me 20% to keep the dresses, and still haven't given me the address to return to China, do not buy from Claire Walsh Galway

Absolute scam, purporting to be from Ireland but actually just Chinese cheap tat.
Material is as cheap as it could be, nothing like the pictures. Do not buy.
