I am in my 60s, and after a lengthy discussion with a customer in their 70s at Club 3000 Bingo in Wigan, I felt it was important to highlight our shared concerns about vaping inside the club.
Several months ago, the Wigan club announced that vaping would be permitted in a designated upstairs area. However, this area remains part of the main hall and is only metres away from tables where vaping is not permitted. Since then, I have noticed an increase in people vaping throughout the venue. Many appear to conceal what they are doing, while some vape openly, as seen in the sports bar and queuing at the upstairs bar.
The customer I spoke with was particularly concerned that non-vapers are being left to report and, in effect, police vaping in non-vaping areas. This can result in them facing confrontation or abuse. They said that announcements about where vaping is and is not permitted are generally made after a customer reports an incident. On some occasions, this has caused unnecessary upset for the person making the report.
These concerns are not limited to the Wigan club. A customer at the Club 3000 Bingo on Hyde Road also told me that vaping takes place throughout that venue. Again, people often try to conceal it, although it remains obvious to anyone who is concerned about exposure. I was also surprised on my last visit (which was some time ago), that the designated vaping area at Hyde Road is situated inside the main hall, close to the bar and café. Customers wishing to use these facilities may therefore find it difficult to avoid passing through the vaping area.
My main concern is the potential effect on health. I have bronchitis, which is aggravated by smoke, vapour and strong smells. For this reason, I sit around the edge of the hall and as far away from designated vaping areas as possible. However, when vaping is allowed in an open part of the hall - or takes place elsewhere without effective enforcement - it becomes very difficult to avoid.
I understand that studies have been conducted into vaping and its emissions. However, to my knowledge, these studies generally concern legal and regulated products. With illegal and unregulated vapes widely available, Club 3000 cannot realistically know what products customers are using or guarantee what substances other customers and employees may be breathing in. This may be one reason many businesses adopt a complete ban on indoor vaping.
I am also concerned about the possible impact on employees. Staff spend many hours, several days a week, inside these halls. They cannot necessarily avoid the designated vaping areas or prevent exposure to vaping elsewhere in the venue.

My regular club is Blackpool, I've been visiting Club 3000 bingo since they opened. The bingo prizes are way way better than Mecca bingo who offer awful winnings. ALL the staff are top class and have been made that way due to excellent management in my opinion. The diner is amazing, go on a Sunday and have the best Sunday roast you've ever had, large portions, just like the salads and the baked potatoes which look like they've had 1/2 a pound of cheese grated on them. The bar is well manned and has 2 sides with people serving. Cleanliness is a priority and you'll never find even the slightest stain anywhere. All staff are taught to chip in with most jobs, and don't just do one job, and of course are very loyal as they're treated with respect. I've always felt like visiting relatives going here, and seeing these other reviews, which are just nonsense, just go there and try it yourself, some days you can play a paper book for free and win decent money, who else does that. Top of the shop is the Manager Sean, totally works his backside off sorting staff/problems with members/dining area and even pitches in with cleaning toilets, know anyone else that does that ? No. I've also been to Preston, Edinburgh, Coatbridge, and Kilmarnock, which are also great places and run,again, by well trained management.

Kilmarnock club 3000. Gold star for staff amazing. Long waits in between sessions. So you either spend a fortune on the machines or eat. Money promised, hardly get doubles or trebles on the deals. Lots of false advertising. It's a gamblers paradise

I won money on a game, not a huge amount £250.

Because I have changed my banking details due to getting married they will not process the winnings despite providing new bank details, my marriage certificate and identification.

I keep getting the same emails we will process the transaction once the above details are provided.
I have now threatened to go to the ombudsman if this isn’t dealt with promptly.

Do not attend trafford Club 3000 in the summer! The air conditioning is broken and with over 1000 people in one room its very hot. I would have thought maybe the soft drinks would be complementary to make up for the hot conditions but no!

Something defo dodgey going on at Club 3000 Old Trafford. Been going for a while and buy max tickets however its the same winners winning everyday. Its 100% rigged.

I was a new customer nervous forgot I'd all ready paid for my paper tickets and told her I also wanted a board so paid 2wice for my paper ticket she never gave me a receipt. Signed up a couple months ago and have deposited £10/20 here or there. Deposited £20 today and was up by £100 in less than 2 minutes. Withdrew straight away, had to upload Id on the site and it was verified instantly! Had email to say my winnings would be paid in 1-3 days. Very easy to do. Only reason for not being 5 stars is the numerous deposits before this and not winning anything at all from them.

They don't seem to want to pay out when you win what all sorts of proof. I thought it would be safe as I go to Club3000 bingo. All the other online you get your money same day some in less than hr, just goes into straight back into account you deposited from. Only if its a large win they want extra proof. Been going for a while now in the cardiff area. Now i'm not saying its fixed but no way is it random. You have everybodys details, history of wins and losses and amounts spent. So the main sessions you can pick the winners and set up certain people to keep getting close way before the bingo even starts. A few dead giveaways are even when its quiet and theres less people than most online bingo rooms, never ever have i seen a hatrick, (line, 2 lines and house) even though ive seen plenty online. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst app I have ever used. Put the minimum requirement of £20 and it gave me a bonus of £40. I won over £200 and tried to withdraw £100 but it wouldn't let me. Asked me to verify my bank card with some of the numbers hidden which I did and it accepted it but then asked me for a bank statement. I have emails back and forward with them but they have never actually answered my question about how to withdraw. Their last email said I was being repetitive and they would no longer communicate with me. I was being repetitive because they had never answered my question. I think its a complete scam. AVOID!

Worst site available I won 2k and they wouldn’t let me take the money out they wanted my passport so I sent this then it was I needed to verify my bank card so I done this then it was I need to make a deposit with this card so I tried then it was you can not deposit as you have the maximum real money balance this site is a fraud and you get no where talking with the customer service as it’s a robot that just has you running round in circles and does not put you through to a agent!!! Club3000 bingo Leith Edinburgh, same as before, but different machines, just small amount,s say 50p machine says winnings paid, but not to my credit on the machine I was playing, so my advice, wherever you are from playing in bingo 3000 machines, contact your local council licensing board and report this to them in writing, they will have to act if they get complaints but all small amounts add up .

Wish I read the reviews before I parted with money I won £80 to be told I can't withdraw unless it's £100 plus there charge a extra £2 on top of your transaction when paying please heed the reviews don't do it
