CM Removals Avis 

We used CM Removals last week and cannot recommend them enough. They were on time, friendly, accommodating to all our needs including moving my fish bowl for me. Plus they were polite and efficient. We have already recommended them to family who will be moving soon.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED removal company, from our initial contact and quote they are very friendly and professional. On moving day, we were worried about the number of things we had to move, however the team put us at ease, protecting our things and surrounding walls/floors moving them seamlessly into their van. On receipt of our things the team worked quickly and we were delighted to have everything in one place, and they were even kind enough to assemble a large sofa we had – I would use CM Removals again

It was a really difficult move with priorities changing literally up to and on the day but the team at CM removals were fabulous. Moved from One house to 2 houses and then last minute to storage. Gave us heaps of packing materials, advice and help both loading and unloading and really looked after our stuff. Really competitively priced too, would highly recommend

CM Removals moved us in December 2020 and it was a first class experience from start to finish. Tim went out of his way to fit us in on our completion day (asking another client who didn’t need to move on a fixed date if they could change day), after we had called around 30-40 different removal companies in Essex but they were all fully booked on our completion day! What a relief! The group of ladies who did our packing were brilliant and all the staff who moved us on the day went above and beyond duty - polite, friendly, helpful, such positive attitudes. Would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

Third time I have used CM for removals and as always excellent professionals. Reliable, nothing is too much trouble and always happy to help unplanned issues! You can try to plan for everything but sometimes things just happen but Tim, Mick and team have seen it all and have a solution for everything. Moving is stressful enough. With CM this part seamless. Won’t go elsewhere

My first experience of moving a business location was made a much less stressful time by CM Removals.

From point of quotation to the move, I was in communication when needed.

On the day of the move, the removals team were incredibly efficient and communitive. No hurdle was too high and the move went without any hiccups.

Really great service. They turned up 30 minutes early which meant packing up started right on time. My house (3bedrooms) was emptied in a record time and nothing was damaged. Really friendly staff and very professional. I’d highly recommend them and will us them on my next move. Great value for money

Awful communication and would advise avoiding at all costs. Initially booked this company and was 'pencilled' in on our completion date. After Christmas we tried to get them out to finalise our quote but weren't keen until we had an exchange date (we were exchanging and completing only days apart). When we eventually did confirm our exchange and completion dates, they simply refused to acknowledge us any further.

Very happy with this company, efficient and friendly on a very cold and snowy day. Everything from the quote, price and removal day was handled brilliantly

What can I say we used CM Removals and had a fab service from start to finish. A huge shout out to Tim the owner who was so patient and accommodating with our lengthy chain and changeable move dates. Relocating from Chelmsford to Norwich was a big deal for us as a family let alone during lockdown, so I am super grateful for these guys for making it such a smooth, fast and friendly transition. Do not touch this company with a barge pole. We booked them to do our move on the 17/11/20. Our moving date was 18/12/20. Tried contacting them numerous times on the Thursday before our move on the Friday without success, left several messages but no response. At 3am yes 3am on the day of our move we received a text message from Tim saying he cannot move us today as he was receiving treatment for Covid and then says in the same text that we did not confirm the moving date which is utter rubbish. Why is he giving 2 separate reasons that he cannot do the move. He did not respond to our text and did not make any apology for this unbelievable behaviour. What sort of person behaves in such a manner when moving house is such a stressful time.

We accepted a quote and signed the form and was advised to contact them when we had a confirmed date of moving. We followed this instruction and contacted them on the 16th November advising that we would be moving on the 18th. The gentlemen confirmed and said ok see you in a couple of days to which we corrected them and advised the 18th December. He then thanked us for letting him know and that he would pencil us in. We have since contacted them today just to confirm all ok for the 18th December for him to be extremely rude and advise that it isn't possible and they were booked up. I am disgusted at the customer service and would not recommend. They have now made what is already a stressful situation worse with only 9 days to find another company. Shame on you.

Used them back in 2019, Guys were fantastic, started at 8am moving from a two bed flat to another local 2 bed flat, all finished by 12:30, took great care with our stuff and nothing was too much trouble even stuff not included in the original quote. Very competitive price, will happily use them again for our next move. 10/10.

What a shock.

CM removals were fantastic. I can’t fault them at all. We completed very late in the day and they called two other guys to help them unload so we had the children’s beds ready in time for their bedtime! Brilliant service all round.

We moved over 200 miles away. The team were professional, polite and most importantly, careful with our belongings.
Good communication from Tim leading up to the move day. Packaging materials delivered well in advance and itinerary worked perfectly. Cheers.

We moved from Chelmsford to Wivenhoe with CM Removals in June, and we were so impressed with their service. They were really efficient, friendly and helpful, took good care of all our things (and packed them really well) and were very reliable. It was quite a short notice booking but they offered a very competitive price and we couldn't have been happier that we went with CM Removals. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
