Coleman Company Avis 

I bought a canopy a year ago. After 5-6 uses over that one year the support beam snapped in half. I contacted customer service 4 times and each time received the same response. They were unable to help. Please note, I am fully aware that my warranty is up. I wanted to buy a new frame for my canopy. I didn’t want a free replacement. They refused to let me give them more money for a frame. They do not stand behind their products and will not help you when a problem arises. They will give you the runaround until you give up. Now I have to try and find someone that can maybe weld the pole or I have to throw out an otherwise perfectly good canopy.

We purchased a Weathermaster 10 person tent. The name is as misleading as their public behavior in comparison to how they treat you privately. The tent, undamaged andon its first use, leaked around the entire lower seem as well as every single attachment point around the inside. I left a review saying as much, to which they publicly responded with "we'll reach out and make things better" attitude, but when they finally did reach out, they said i shouldve read the warranty and instructions better before purchasing, and even mentioned broken poles and wind damage... 3 things i hadnt had issue withnor mentioned, ever. The tent is not as big an issue as is their shady behavior, deceitful demeanor (portraying the concerned manufacturer wanting to make things right in the public eye, but completely disregarding that idea in private email, and pretty much saying its my fault, they already have my money, bye. So based on ethics and morals, which Coleman seems to lack, ill not spend another penny on them, and id advise anyone else to shop elsewhere. Walmarts tents are just as unreliable but much cheaper. Otherwise, save up and buy a real tent from any number or companies that not only make solid gear, but care about their customers satisfaction as well as their products reliability. Coleman has joined many others, and care for nothing but your money. Once they have that, you mean nothing to them. Shop elsewhere.

They suck like scammed me.

Warranty is a lie. Company does not stand by their products. They replied that they don't manufacturer anything anymore and just license their name to other company's products. Customer service is useless. Avoid ALL Coleman products.

I paid $2000 for a Coleman GoCart from TSC and it didn't last 6 months before it needed work. Took it to the shop and spent more money to fix it now 30 days later here we are and it'll barley go so back to the shop we go to spend more money to get this piece of junk worked on. I know someone else who also bought the same thing as me from the same store and his started messing up too but luckily for him, it wad within the 90 day window to return all together. Dont buy this brand. Dont waste your money.

I paid for expedited shipping and the items were 3 days late. I was notified that they would be late with no mention of returning my expedited fee. I tried to address this online but there was no way to do that. There is no live chat. I called customer service and was on hold for 50 minutes before giving up. With such a poor support line they should, at the very least, tell customers the expected wait time and offer to be held in que and receive a call back from Coleman.

On line customer service agent Rufaro was and is useless.
Getting through to them on their 800 number is a HUGE waste of your time. 35 minutes on hold waiting and not a single person picked up.
The overall impr4ession I get from Coleman a name we all use to trust is, they don't give one care, not one wit about YOU the customer the prospective buyer of their "products" which from the looks of things, has dropped down by a factor of negative one thousand.

I will not buy Coleman again and I strongly urge you the consumer to look elsewhere for quality camping gear.

The only thing they have worth anything is their recipes which I copied and printed out.

Bought a 5 ton a/c,heatpump unit (Coleman) .what a peace of garbage.
After a few months of working. When ever the temperature drop to - will stop working. Call up Coleman customer service. Was told the dont actually make the product. The subcontract to johnson control .call johnson control was told to call Coleman that they are just the manufacturer of the heatpump. No one once to cover my warranty .
Very poor customer service and quality of the product.

The coleman pro silver 15x15 sunwall event shelter we got last year has tears all along the edges and we have found out is not repairable.
The cheap gazebo near to it all the time was perfectly intact.
Just found out that the sunwall is a cheap import from china at an inflated price

Stay away from them.
Bought a mini bike, it worked fine only the first time we started it. Second time started leaking oil and rattling like crazy
I tried to reach out to them several times never got ahold of anyone or heard back from them.
They get rich by scamming people with a shit product.
I am glad to provide this review hopefully sparing people from throwing away their money!

The new blackout tents are discos with fluorescent zips. I reported to the company and they have tried to delay resolution to outside of 120 days when chargebacks are easier.
Don't use, bad product in the first place and the customer service is worse.

I have 2 of the coleman 6 man instant cabin tents. Both of them brand new out of the box leak like a siv in the rain. Coleman would not stand by their product yet told me to buy some water proofing spray. I went and bought 4 cans at $17.00 a piece sprayed the heck out of them and they still leak! Coleman has become a garbage chinese co. I will not do business with coleman any longer. I will buy my products from a co. Who sell quality and have the customer's satisfaction as a priority.

Run away from the Coleman company while you can. I ordered two Contigo stainless steel bottles, one defective and the other having a locking button too hard to move. Despite emailing and finally reaching a person to talk to, then emailing the requested video, photo, and other information, nothing. What a waste of my time and money.

Totally unhelpful when I spoke to customer services. Totally disinterested in my query about replacement parts

The Chinese made "material" sold under the name of COLEMAN is poorest quality. There is no Customer Support and replacement parts appear to be non-existent. They are riding on the coat tails of a company name that used to produce reasonable products but those days are very, very long gone. Save your money and buy better product else where. If I could give a No Star rating, that would be my first choice.

Coleman is trusted as a American brand made in America. Nothing could be further from the truth. Coleman products, especially engines pumps, go-karts outdoor products are all resourced from China. The quality of their products is terrible. Especially their hot tubs sais spa. I've gotten two replacements for my hot tub pump and both occasions they break down and fail. Save your money and don't invest in this fraud. American company that just supplies China made products that are garbage. I will never buy from them again

Be certain what you see on the screen is what you want, because the return and exchange policy is subpar. For me a return was impossible because it took customer service more than the 5 day period to get back to me. When they eventually did my question was not answered because clearly a bot wrote it. I have had a Coleman cooler for over 30 years. The company has not disappointed until now.

Why have you removed my review on Coleman 2 burner BBQ without reason - Coleman 2 burner BBQ January 2025 -with many issues - Gas issues- wind issues- door won’t close - door frame out off alignment- gas flow stopped working - wind issues on 10 floor due facing due north in 10 km wind could not go over 225 should get to 280c.Sold to use to work on balconies. Coleman would not replace BBQ due to wind - they took back BBQ and credited our bank- so why won’t they pay for assembly. I don’t see why I should not have to ware this cost. I had Everdue BBQ for 2 years without any wind issues.This is Coleman issue to pay for assembly costs of $200.

Recently placed an order for a Duel Fuel Sportster, but found a better deal elsewhere, the order had not even been processed or shipped, but the company refused to cancel and i was forced to do a cb. Customer care is non responsive.
