I Was quoted £175 for my iPhone 14Plus, it was a working phone for them to offer me £30 pound, they also haven’t sent the money yet after waiting over 3 weeks

Competitive price and seamless process
I came across Compare and Recycle after being disappointed by the price being offered by other providers when I wanted to trade in my old phone. The price I ended up getting from one of the companies on their website was much higher. The process was also seamless and I received my money within 3 working days after they received my phone.

they said it would take 5 working day for themoney due to me to arrive it took 15.5 days that is the total minus 2 days for bank holiday

Beware of picking the highest paying company. Read all the reviews of the individual companies and especially the one star reviews.
Most companies buy and sell phones and the reviews are combined. The company I went with had negative reviews from people who sold their phones but positive reviews from people who had bought phones giving an overall positive rating.
So please please read the worst reviews and judge for yourself.

Payment Delay
Finding a company that gives a good price was easy.
Sending the phone i was straight forward.

Matched with UR – still no payment after 3 weeks
I used Compare and Recycle to sell my phone and was matched with UR.
Unfortunately, the experience has been very poor. I accepted the offer on 30 March, and UR has had my device for nearly 3 weeks without making the payment.
I have contacted them multiple times and was promised payment, but nothing has been received.
I expected better from a company recommended through this platform. I hope Compare and Recycle can review the companies they partner with to avoid situations like this.

Would Avoid
Was honest and transparent with the condition of my phone 13 and offered a good deal £123 , after they received it they then started offering silly money first offer £11.00 so i told them to return it, 2nd offer £20.00 again when i asked for my phone back they offered £40.00 so I said return or pay me at least £50.00 as i had lost the will to live at this point, they agreed to pay £50.00 but I then had to chase payment several times. scam company
I did get paid eventually but like i said had to chase payment several times.

Avoid using the Uber Link recycling…
Avoid using the Uber Link recycling company on this site as they offer you a ridiculous amount for your device with a false assessment. I would stick to the high street when it comes to recycling as they would be more honest

Don't believe the offer and go direct
Selling my phone, I specified "good" condition and feel this fairly describes the condition of my phone. Offer was £88 which i thought was fair, but after sending in was offered £55. This site is not honest in terms of what you will actually be offered for your phone.
Using the actual website site was fine.

Don’t bother a complete waste of time! I was given a price of £21 for my broken phone and when they received it they revalued it as it was broken for a £1!!
I told them it was broken hence why it was valued at £21 to start with! Jokers…

Broken prices are upto prices as clearly stated on our comparison. We are not a recycler, so we do not know exactly why your device was regraded and priced at £1. Our advice would be to decline any offer you are unhappy with and have the device returned if you can't reach a price you are happy with.
