I have found a job advert on Indeed by Contract Spy for IT Desktop Engineer (Field Engineer) at Network Squad, Birmingham, £Contractor Rate.
You stated Age must be between 28 and 45 ?

As a job aggregator, Contract Spy aggregated the advert in good faith from a widely respected market leading job board. We are disappointed that both the originating job board and the advertiser included an age restriction in their job advert, and we have since removed the advert from our service. We apologise that our system failed to spot that we had aggregated an offending advert in this case, and thanks for drawing this to our attention, allowing us to take prompt corrective action. Contract Spy does not discriminate on grounds of age or any other protected characteristic, and we have been providing our services to the UK IT Contractor community for over 9 years and to date over 2500 IT Contractors have chosen to subscribe, many on second or subsequent subscriptions.

They have scraped my emails from Reed job site and my CV. That being said, after reading the reviews and the responses (credit to them for that) on here, I decided to contact them to ask if my search keywords appear in their database (i.e. if it will be useful for me to subscribe). As with other reviews, totally unresponsive (after 4 days to their subscribe email published on their website) even to such a positive request! This convinced me not to try a month. To their credit, however, it is easy enough to unsubscribe to their newsletter at the bottom of the email - let's see if it sticks. It's a shame their front door process is lacking, I may have been a positive customer ultimately. I will update if anything changes

Apologies that we didn’t respond to your email in 2 working days, we aim to respond to emails by the end of the same working day but clearly missed our target in this regard. The answer to your emailed question was actually already covered by our FAQs, which we invite everyone to consult prior to contacting us, under the heading “How many Contract Opportunities will there be with my skillset?” We are glad to hear that you managed to unsubscribe from our email service successfully. I am not sure what you mean by our front door process, but can I take this opportunity to confirm that no CV details are held by our company and no CV is required to subscribe to our service, and to date over 2500 IT Contractors have chosen to subscribe, many on second or subsequent subscriptions.

Should be a facility to sort by date or filter by last 24 hours, 3 days etc.
A lot of civil service jobs even those posted 9-10 days ago are no longer available.

You are correct that the majority of jobs will not still be open 9 or 10 days after they are posted. This is the reason that we publish a daily digest of all the jobs we find each day, so that we bring them to the attention of our subscribers whilst they are all still fresh. Contract jobs are in high demand and most are filled within the first couple of days of advertising, and all contractors should appreciate this before choosing contracting as an option. We are sorry that you failed to appreciate this before subscribing and wish you all in the best in your job search.

This reviewer posted a negative review less than 24 hours after emailing us with their query, so perhaps they were more interested in leaving a negative review to the potential detriment of our business than finding out the answer to their query – we are an easy target for recruitment agents looking to discredit our service and create negative feedback. Fortunately such actions have failed to put off over 2000 genuine IT Contractor subscribers to date, many of whom are repeat subscribers.

This daily job list, plus emails with filtered/tailored jobs, saves hours of time. By-passes agencies and their fees with direct client contacts. You can negotiate a deal from there (e.g. fixed price or flexi-work arrangements). Its a business expense and great value.

I find Contract Spy great - it lists direct contracts from a huge range of companies that would take me ages to search myself - and the email alert facility is really useful as new contracts are identified and uploaded every day as they come on to the market

I echo the previous comment. There is nowhere to unsubscribe and all the jobs are already on job boards. So there is no advantage to subscribing. Also I have written to the company several times to unsubscribe and they have not contacted me once.

They pull adverts from common job boards that you are already registered with. Most of the jobs are no longer available. They claim to be the champion of Outside IR35 but almost all jobs there are inside and these jobs are available on most job websites. Why would you pay £29 per month for information that is already freely available? The user experience is crap. I
