Do not know how or why the original charge happened. But after contacting Convert2 I received a 50% credit
Apparently, I accidentally signed up for this service, and was charged a fee. I sent an email to the company, and within a day I was refunded my full amount. Great service!

Feel scammed
Bought a 7 day limited trial as I only needed it for a day. Paid 75p which seemed reasonable given it was for 7days. First of all it didn't compress the document I needed so I didnt use it but after 30 days it took £39 from my account because I apparently agreed to an auto renew!?
Cancelling was also a nightmare and I couldn't get it any refund either. Now Ive paid 90 quid for a service that I didnt ever use.
Seems incredibly "gotcha" terms and conditions.

It worked. Used it to insert a pdf file into a Google doc and retain the formatting.

Predatory billing
This charge was incurred in error while I was trying out your app. Obviously, I didn’t read the small print that you would be charging me $50 after a 10 day waiting period. I appreciate your refunding half but, nonetheless, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Most companies now provide an advance notice of such charges which is the right thing to do. As far as I’m concerned, this was nothing more than a “gotcha” billing.

Subscription Scam
As many other customers have complained, this company charged me $49.99 for a subscription I was unaware of. Thankfully, I caught it soon after the trial was over, and contacted the company to request a full refund, as others here have noted they received. Tom offered a 50% refund that I still did not think was acceptable because I did not knowingly agree to these terms. After requesting a full refund I have not heard back. If this $49.99 clears in my bank account I will be reporting this company to both the FTC and FBI IC3.
