Amazing variety and super high quality, very true to the character

The variety on the website is impressive and the products are very high quality. I have ordered two dresses from Barbie the Prince and the Pauper and the fabric was high quality satin, the finishes were well done, the details were incredible. I have also ordered shoes from 2021 Cruella movie. There were a lot of options from that movie that I haven't seen anywhere else. The price is substantial but the quality is there! The only reason I wouldn't give it a full 5 star rating is because it takes a long time to receive the item. Depending on what it is, because they're not cheap knockoff's, that may be because they make them only after they are ordered. The communication after ordering could be better and a realistic expectation on timing would be helpful. I have always placed my orders weeks in advance and so it hasn't been an issue yet but if you don't buffer the time you could be receiving a really cool costume well after you need it.

Fantastic Experience with Cosplaycostume - Highly Recommend!

Scaaaaam

Okey dokey, so let's go through this one by one.

- Customer service: Absolutely awful. For one thing, they don't list any contact information whatsoever. Have questions before you order? Too bad. That honestly should've been the first red flag, but I didn't think anything of it at the time. The only way you can communicate with them is via email, and you only have their email if you have ordered something and gotten a confirmation email. You have to use the email address there and send your email to it. However, they don't seem to actually CHECK their emails. Or maybe they ignore them, I don't know. In both cases in which I emailed them, it took like, half a month for them to get back to me.

- Cancellations: I'm 99% sure they don't even intend to let anyone ever cancel orders. You have 24–48 hours to cancel your order. However, there's no link in the email to click to cancel the order or any contact information given on who to contact if you want to cancel. So once again, you're stuck using the email address that was used with the confirmation email. You know, the one that they never check? Like I said, about half a month for each. So I email them less than 48 hours, asking to cancel. And since they don't check/ignore their emails, that means by the time they get it, it's been past 48 hours and they say they can't return it due to that. And by the time I got my tracking info, I could see that it was nearly a week after sending my request that they got ready to send it out, so they're seriously either not checking emails or just flat out have no intention of ever giving money back.

- Delivery: So I'm annoyed, but I guess it's still something I can wear to another con. So I ask for the tracking information. One or two weeks, no reply. I email again saying I'm going to contact my bank at this point, and of course then they reply with my after that with my tracking information. Which, as I said, showed it had been sent out to be shipped nearly a week after my request to cancel the order. It is now October 10th. The package has been sitting in New Jersey since August 22nd.

- Costumes: They claim to create their own costumes. It's even one of the reasons they say they can't return after 24–48 hours. Though you can find these costumes on a number of other cosplay shopping sites. Like, down to the same preview picture. Which means these "custom sizes" they offer aren't even legit. They're just rounding up or down by picking whichever size is closest to yours.

These people are scammers. I was wondering if they were just awful at running a business and had horrible customer service, but that claim to make their own costumes and the option to tailor them to your specific size was the nail in the coffin. These people are scammers. They will steal your money, and there's a good chance you'll never see what you ordered. But hey, maybe I'll have a new cosplay costume to wear to the next RICC in November 2025. 🙄

The worst communication I’ve ever experienced

Update: my order arrived and I found out they don't even make the costumes themselves, they just buy them from other sites and pass it off as their own. I was looking a replacement outfit and that one arrived, upon inspection I realized they sent me the EXACT SAME one I had ordered off of amazon. Every detail, every fabric, everything about the 2 costumes were the same.
First I want to say sorry if this comes off wrong, I’m not very good with putting my thoughts into words and I’ve never written a review before. The customer service is horrible. I had placed an order with them and the lack of communication is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The chat bubble was no help, it just had pre wrote responses that didn’t answer anything I asked then it just kept me on “connecting you to a live agent” for 3 weeks. In that time I had still I heard nothing. I tried to contact them a few times just to see if they had received my payment in the first place, no one ever got back to me. I finally got fed up with not knowing if I had been scammed or not and it took me threatening to cancel my order to finally hear back from anyone. They also have misleading information about orders. They said on the site that orders move from “processing” to “in production” within the first 24-48 hours after payment. Mine was there from a month straight. Again with no word on any updates on any of it. I know it takes time to make costumes and stuff don’t get me wrong there, I was patient on that aspect because I understand how much time it takes, I just wanted to know if my payment had gone through since my card gives me trouble sometimes when shopping online. I just really wish it didn’t come down to having to threaten a cancellation just to get a reply.
Too long didn’t read: I tried to contact them about my payment going through, I heard nothing for almost 2 months and it took me threatening a cancellation of my order to get a reply from anyone.
Don’t waste your time with this site and if you do don’t hold your breath about anyone getting back to you about anything.

Bad customer service and misleading information

If you need custom-made cosplays, don't shop here. I ordered a custom-size cosplay from them, which they said they could do. A few months later and I had no updates on how my order was going, so I emailed them asking if they were missing something, only to be told they couldn't do custom sizes. I have asked for a refund, and I'm still awaiting an answer. Terrible customer service, misleading information and overall a bad shop. Don't shop here if you need custom sizing, instead find a shop that will give you a custom size and updates on your order.

Not tailored properly and missing key part

Ordered an adult custom tailored costume and when I received it - the mask was missing and the costume was not custom tailored but was too small. The back of the costume cannot even be zipped up past the waist.

Probably a scam

I ordered and payed for a cosplay in summer last year. After no email with informations what so ever I contacted them in october, they said that they didn't proceed with the order because I would need to pay for taxes. After giving my consent to paying for the taxes, they asked when I would need the cosplay...I still haven't received it. It probably won't come at all. I'm quiet sure that it is a scam website. You should buy a cosplay/costume somewhere else.

I ordered a costume for the suicide…

I ordered a costume for the suicide squad joker for $30.03. It showed the jacket shirt and wig. They only sent me the shirt. I messaged them about it and they tried to say at first I only ordered the wig then I messaged them back saying I ordered the whole thing they messed me back saying I only ordered the shirt. I sent the a picture of what it showed I ordered and they still want to say I didn't. I'm not happy that I really didn't have the money to buy this but this was what my son wanted for Halloween and no he has nothing to wear. I don't get a check every week I'm on a fixed income (ssid) I get a small check every month. This place I a rip off. I wish I could post a picture of what I ordered and how it reads. It's misleading. When you look at a product that shows everything you should get what it shows like I seen. When I looked up the suicide squad joker the description showed the trench coat,shirt,wig that was I should of been sent. NOT JUST THE SHIRT AND TOLD TWO DIFFERENT THINGS THAT I ORDERED WHEN I ORDERED THE WHOLE THING

Waste of time. Don't settle for nothing!

They never shipped my item. It was listed as unshipped with a label created in limbo for a month.
They offered me a refund after three weeks with a "$20 restock/material fee" because shipment was "seized by customs."
Refused to give me evidence of it being seized by customs. Tracking information still said it wasn't recieved or shipped. I demanded a full refund or I'd go to paypal to contest the charge. Definitely sketchy, definitely suspicious, possibly just a scam website entirely. Don't bother, order elsewhere.

This is my second time buying from…

This is my second time buying from here, the previous being Ranma Saotome costume. I was very happy with it. But this wasn't as good. The material and the coat basically were very nice, but there were some problems. There were no pockets, unlike they had sewn to look it like there was. The 'necklace' was sad. The 'jewels' were just pieces of silver fabric, sewn unprofessionally. The pants are good, just a bit big, but that's okay, you can put a belt in it. The gloves are perfect, they fit perfectly and feel comfy. Shipping was very fast.

If I could give these people a zero I would. Talking about custom made . That’s some mess I could have thrown together myself and did better . And they got the nerves to send me a messy message. I wish I knew how to post it, please don’t waste your time nor money on this company.

Shady Business Tactics

I placed an order with Cosplayshopper for a costume in September. Their website stated that I would be able to receive the costume by Halloween if ordered before the end of September. I placed the order with 9 days to spare given their time frame. Two weeks pass and I get an email stating they wouldn't be able to make their deadline due to high demand and if I wanted a refund I could get one or they could continue to process the order. I was extremely bummed out about hearing that but decided to go ahead and wait. Long story short, I waited a total of 2 months and emailed them asking what has happened to my order. They then told me they had supply issues and it wouldn't be done until the end of the year. If I would have known it was supply issues and not just a high demand of sales I would have just asked for the refund. But instead they decided to keep me in the dark about what was really going on. I decided right then and there I wanted a refund because they lied about what really was causing the delay to my order. They only refunded me $58 out of almost $300 that I paid in full at the beginning of all of this. I will never do business with them ever again! Buyers beware of their shady business tactics. This isn't how you treat customers!

SCAM WEBSITE

I wish I read the reviews first. I ordered a costume in October and was charged right away for it. Did not get an order confirmation. A month goes by, nothing. Emailed the company asking where my order was. Was told there was a "delay in materials" and my order MIGHT be shipped end of december. I immediately requested my order to be cancelled and my money refunded. No response. Emailed them again a week later, was told everyone is out of the office for the holidays. No refund a week later. I tried looking for a phone number to call but there wasn't one listed on their site. I reported them as a scam to the FTC. It shouldn't take a legit business more than 14 days to refund your money and not have a phone number listed.. plus not mentioning the "delays" in your order. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Poor Customer Service, Return, and Shipping Policies

Customer Service is awful, I no longer wanted a product 3 months ago. Their excuse being, "sorry package has already been shipped, we will send shipping details soon". This went on for 2.5 months, when they finally sent me the shipping details. I don't won't their low quality work and refuse to provide refunds. I also still haven't received the artwork that I requested.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS

Placed an order company immediately tried to charge my card additional charges. Had to cancel my credit card due to fraud. Emailed them several times and have received no reply. DONT BUY FROM HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I found their page on Instagram and I reported it as scam account.

Do not shop here! Champion of Cosplay provides a terrible costume and service! I placed a custom made order two months in advance to Halloween and paid expedited shipping. I received the product not to my measurements as agreed, not all the items paid for were included, and received almost two months after the order was placed. They will not refund even when they admit they are at fault not following the measurements as agreed and not shipping all they items you paid for. They mail you absolute trash and have terrible customer service.

Think twice about ordering from Cosplay Shopper

I ordered the Assassins Creed outfit at the beginning of September and their website stated I would receive this before Halloween. I am still waiting and two days to go but one day until the party it was purchased for.

I have emailed Cosplay Shopper several times with no joy. They have answered by giving me a tracking number which initially didn't work. Then eventually they sent a link that worked. My package was in China ready to be dispatched to the UK on 29th of September, still not here??? Just checked last night (28th October) and it's still in China ready to be dispatched to the UK.

I emailed Cosplay Shopper 2 days ago on the Wednesday and no reply. I have emailed again today and I'm not holding my breath for a reply.

There has been some good experiences by the reviews I've seen but I would be very cautious if you were planning on purchasing anything from them and would say it was a safer bet to source what you want from another supplier.

I'm definitely not happy and it feels like they don't care once they have your money.

This company isn't just a clown, it's the whole circus

Placed an order on AUGUST 6TH, paid for my items already and waited for an email with tracking number and such. Legit got NOTHING. Sent an email on OCTOBER 4TH and got told a lame excuse that my country was asking for a Tax and fees, hence why they didn't process my order. Told them that I was willing to pay if my order would be able to arrive before the 30th of this month. Today is OCTOBER 21st — still got no reply after sending another email. Scam company, poor excuse of a costumer service. 10/10 would never buy from them again.
