The cheese was good - The packaging was unacceptable
The cheese was good, if a little more expensive than some other online companies.
The delivery was on time and the cheese was nicely wrapped.
One piece of cheese was large and they telephoned me to ask if I wanted it portioned. Customer care does not get better than this.
I was somewhat taken aback by the fact that they used reflective bubble wrap and reflective plastic sheets which is seldom recyclable.
I messaged them, very politely, asking them to consider recyclable materials.and did not get a reply. Not even a, "We will consider this."
Plastics are a major environmental problem now and it is getting worse with microplastics being found in our food and bodies.
I will not buy from companies who make no attempt to minimize their impact on the environment. Other online cheese companies do far better in this regard.
