The Country Dog Hotel & Spa Avis 

I have an incredibly nervous dog that requires a lot of specific attention and The Country Dog Hotel & Spa made me feel so at ease. I was updated regularly with photos and videos which was so lovely! I could tell it was the perfect fit. Bex and her team are attentive, understanding and reliable. I feel so relieved to have a place for my dog to stay when I go away. 10/10!

Bonnie our Staffordshire bull terrier has just returned home from her first visit at TCDH. We felt reassured right from the drop off when we met a couple of members of staff you could see they genuinely loved their jobs and all the dogs in their care.
We had regular updates which is brilliant and on collecting bonnie we could see how much she had enjoyed her stay.
She was returned to us having had a bath and with some personalised biscuits and a lovely paw print picture.we wont hesitate to book bonnie in again. We are so pleased to have found a home from home experience for bonnie.

We were so happy with CDH and would recommend to any dog owners. Our 18 month Australian Labroodle spent two weeks there while we travelled overseas and we were at ease knowing he was being so well looked after. We loved the daily WhatsApp updates and pictures - seeing him cuddle up with other dogs and playing outside filled our hearts with joy. He does some level of separation anxiety and we were concerned about leaving him in an unfamiliar place without us but he came back even more confident and the stay has actually helped him develop, which is great. Can’t wait for him to visit CDH again!

Our Irish Terrier Maple has recently been for her first stay at The Country Dog Hotel and it was a great success! Finding something which suits Maple is a challenge as she has separation anxiety and is also quite high energy, combined with a very worry-prone first time dog mum! TCDH were great at reassuring me when I first contacted them, and when getting the regular updates throughout her stay it was clear what a great time she was having.
It's really important to me that Maple isn't just left to bomb around a field with other dogs for hours at a time and this isn't the case here. She was matched with other high energy dogs and also went out on a adventure walk. We also got pictures of her chilling out by the Aga.
Pick up and drop off in London are really great for us, and it was a really seamless process.
We'll definitely use TCDH again!

Sidney has been coming to the CDH for the last 3 years. I honestly can’t think of anywhere else I would send him and not worry about him whilst we are away. Right from moment you drop them off to the wonderful photos and videos you get - what a lovely place for your pups to go.

Our cockapoo Fig adores the Country Dog Hotel. They were recommended to us a few years ago and Fig adores his stays there. Its clear that Rebecca, Mike and team love what they do and Fig is always so well cared for. They team give daily picture updates and are always on hand to answer our needy dog parent questions. I never worry about him when he's there, as its clear he has the best time, he's even a little sad to come home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the CDH, they are truly the best.

I trust them implicitly and to know that your dog is having a brilliant time with a team of people who all absolutely adore all dogs and really look after them is amazing, and allows us to go on holiday without worrying. Twiglet, our border terrier, absolutely loves going to the CDH. Could not recommend highly enough for dog owners who are concerned to find a really caring place for their furry children!

We have been thrilled with the care our dogs received at the Country Dog Hotel. Nothing was too much for Rebecca, Mike and their team. One of our dogs has significant health needs and went with medications and a list of instructions re food and exercise but none of it was a problem at all. We are absolutely certain that both our dogs had the best time as we were sent regular photo updates. We didn’t worry about them at all, in fact we are convinced that they didn’t want to come home. We just wish they could speak so that they could tell us all about it! The personalised biscuits and ball they left with were a really lovely surprise. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Country Dog Hotel to anyone. Every dog that gets the opportunity to experience a stay there is a very lucky dog.

We have used the country dog hotel for 7 years and it’s fantastic. The care for our cockapoo is second to none he enjoys the walks and the company. We are always confident that he is cared for. The biscuits he comes home with always disappear quickly! Highly recommended

As a slightly anxious owner of a slightly anxious dog, I feel so comfortable sending Puzzle to stay with Mike, Rebecca and the rest of the team....he always comes back so happy and calm and confident.

I have a highly energetic big dog and have struggled to find kennels able to look after her for longer than a few days in the past. However she has stayed at The Country Dog Hotel on several occasions in the last year and they have been absolutely fabulous with her. She returns relaxed, calm and well exercised. And gets lots and lots of love whilst she's with them. It's the first time we've been able to go away for 10 days since we've had her. I can't thank them enough, or recommend them highly enough. They send photo updates if you ask for them, which gives peace of mind. A fantastic place for your dog to stay!!

Alfie has stayed at The Country Dog Hotel on several occasions his individual needs have always been met with love and care by the fantastic team. We were updated on his daily adventures and could see he was relaxed and happy. We would highly recommend The Country Dog Hotel and wouldn’t send Alfie anywhere else.

If you are lucky enough to have Rebecca , Mike and their team looking after your dogs, for any period of time, you will feel like you have won the lottery ! Their love and care are second to none. Both our dogs are always happy and settled from the moment they arrive. In addition, the grooming is immaculate .We have used them for both our dogs many times and feel very privileged to call them our extended dog family. In addition, their flexibility and willingness to help out and go that extra mile are extraordinary. Highly recommend

Our Italian greyhound had a wonderful time at the hotel. He is quite demanding, so was very impressed they managed to care for him so well! The staff sent us many photos during his stay which was a very nice touch. Recommended!

We wouldn't put our dog Bunty anywhere else. She has a lovely stay and always comes home happy and content. The staff are just brilliant and we always get pictures of her whilst she is there. Emily gives her a spa treatment and she comes home smelling fragrant instead of fox poo. They are the best.

The most amazing wonderful and fabulous hotel for our much loved pets. The attention to detail is incredible and the activities, the food and the accommodation is truly a home away from home. The staff are fun, energetic and truly invested in making guests feel 100% at home. I wish humans could join.
