The information was helpful and learned some new techniques for reporting purposes

The quality of the information was good; however, the delivery was slow with interruptions in thought and communication. Difficult to follow and was less interesting.

It was user friendly with easy to follow instructions!

The Employee Handbooks & Stand-Alone Policies: Compliance Updates for Employers webinar was a worthwhile session that provided a solid high-level overview of current compliance considerations. Even when the material is familiar, I always walk away with a useful nugget or reminder that I can apply in my work, so I appreciate that.

The presenter was knowledgeable, well-prepared, and clearly understood the subject matter. She spoke confidently about the content and was able to explain concepts in a practical way.

One area for improvement would be reducing some of the repetition throughout the presentation. The time spent revisiting certain topics could instead be used for a deeper dive into more specific content.

In particular, I would have liked more discussion around stand-alone policies—when it makes sense to create them outside of the employee handbook, which policies are most commonly maintained separately, and the rationale behind that approach. That additional level of detail would have made the session even more valuable for HR professionals responsible for maintaining compliant policies.

Very specific and up-to-date information was provided during this webinar. Lots of detail and examples of different situations. Easy to understand and follow along with.

The webinar was having issues with connection due to storms/hurricane in the instructor's area. The information provided was not very detailed. This was basically the same information that I've been able to obtain online for free. I was under the impression that this webinar would be much more informational and that was not the case. There was alot of "rambling" in my opinion. It was not worth the cost whatsoever. Will not take any further courses with this company.

The content was good, the presenter was dry. Basically read off the slides.

First, I will be requesting a refund for the presentation I attended. The presenter read (poorly) from each slide, giving very little to no information beyond the slides. Next the presenters slides were out of date on a topic about keeping up to date on laws and changes. It would reference 2026 is around the corner and such. I think this was a canned recording from earlier we were charged for. The presenter also mentioned she was losing connection because of the hurricane that was hitting Florida. There were no hurricanes in the US on 7/17/26.

Beyond this there was nothing insightful for the entire presentation. My interns would not have found any useful information from this. It was a complete waste of time and money.

Full of useful information to prepare us for the 2026 1099s

I've been doing payroll for over 30 years and there was a lot that was a refresher but much of the content I was unaware of the laws.

The information was a much needed update to my knowledge. There were things mentioned that I was not aware of.
Unfortunately, the presenter, while extremely knowledgeable and clear in his presentation but his delivery made me feel like a kindergartener. Maybe that is what is needed for this type of class but it was hard to stay engaged.

I'm new in my HR role. I'm finding that using AI is a massive part of the job now, at least in my company. I'm 39, so an older millennial.
I signed up b/c I see the value in learning these skills.
But to be completely honest, after the webinar I went on Youtube and found several free 15-25 minute videos by young kids who are growing up using this stuff.

During the webinar I felt like I was learning that the AI capabilities exist and they can be used for cool things. During the Youtube videos, I actually learned tangible skills that I could implement immediately.

I'm glad I got the CE credits, but it really seems like the CE model of old is becoming obsolete.

I was disappointed that not all topics listed on the Session Highlights on the website were covered, such as manage missing or incorrect TINs and handling CP-2100 notices and B notices. Other than that, all other topics were educational. Also, the screen sharing was not on for the first 30 min of the session. I could not follow when instructor was showing how to navigate the IRS website.

Why do I have to leave this review to get a copy of the e-transcript I paid for?

The training was very informative, and I learned a lot from it. However, it was a tad above my experience level, and at times it went a little too fast for me to keep up.

The QR code that was sent for the session did not work and I received no response from customer support. Was not able to view the session I paid for.
