I’m not sure how genuine they are
I’m not sure how genuine they are, but they offer bigger discounts if you provide your card details immediately. I told them I needed to review their website first, but the lady on the call kept insisting I check it right then on my mobile and finalize the deal. It felt suspicious. I told her I was at work and couldn’t do it at the moment. I asked her to send me an email with all the details, but she refused and wanted to handle everything only over the phone. That was a major red flag. Be careful when dealing with such coverage companies. Always verify their legitimacy multiple times. Once you make a payment, there’s no guarantee you’ll get your money back.

Not sure yet just signed up with them. We’ll see I know I don’t have to pay no out-of-pocket. I just gotta go to the place to get my car fixed and pay $200 and then y’all put cover the rest under what is covered under yawls policy. I’ll know more later on, but so far so good.

A seriously shady company that text-message-spams and won't identify itself.
Despite my being signed up with the national do-not-call registry, this shady company has been sending me text message spam, addressed to a name other than my own and offering a car warranty on a vehicle that I do not have (and never did). When I called the number from which the text message was sent, the agent would not identify the company as anything other than "auto service department", would not say where the company was based, and said they didn't have a website -- and then I was hung up on. I called back and got someone else who listened to my complaint and then immediately began to pitch the product I'd already said I had no interest in -- and then I was hung up on again. Finally I got someone who offered me a phone number for their corporate office, and then proceeded to give me a number for the California health department!! When I pointed this out, she "texted her boss" and gave me a phone number that is listed on the CoverageX website. One of these reps actually claimed, without my asking, that they were A+ accredited with the BBB (this is prominently posted on their website as well), which is another lie as they currently have an A- rating due to several complaints similar to mine. (Also note that all the positive Trustpilot reviews are from folks who have only posted this one review, while the negative reviews are from people who have previously used Trustpilot multiple times.) This company needs to 1) obey the law by screening the national do-not-call registry before contacting people; 2) identify itself clearly when asked; 3) remove the false BBB A+ rating from their website (coveragex.com); and 4) leave me alone and never contact me again.
