CraftyMonkies has many fiber art class topics with top notch instructors. I've learned so much, from improvisational quilting to machine embroidery, to doll making.I love, love, love Rachel and CraftyMonkies!

The class was Great! I felt so comfortable, all most like Nicolas was sitting in my sewing space beside me. How he shared his process was clear, straight for ward, easy to follow along. Personally not having all the chatter from participants was helpful. I purchased his book just before the class it came several days following the class, such joy with a little (a lot) screaming going on.

The Nicholas Ball class is fantastic. I took the class primarily because I was interested in learning the techniques I had seen in his book which I had purchased before. It was so great to have both the book and class. Anyway, he is an excellent teacher and has a relaxed but thorough approach. I thank him so much for sharing his skills and quilting philosophy with those who want to learn improv.
Thank you also to Rachel who communicated with me and has a thought provoking and meaningful podcast.

Crafty monkies is a class act. Rachel is down to earth and encouraging. The format which is unique to each artist makes class flow welcoming to all and rich.

The experience was made great by Rachel and the guest artists. First of all, Rachel is on top of everything! I sent an email and she responded immediately. She also is the moderator and oversees the meetings and takes care of any issues so the artist can concentrate on the presentation. I always know everything will be okay with Rachel being present. She genuinely cares and goes above and beyond.
The artists are world class and present material in a well organized and professional manner.
It's clear that the artists have spent a great deal of time in preparation. I have taken live classes with Nicholas Ball, Carolina Oneto and Cindy Grisdela. All of them are exceptional.

Zooming in from America was easy and seamless. The instructor, Nicholas Ball, was knowledgeable, patient and inspiring.

Well organized great demos, Nicholas is an excellent instructor. My only criticism would be that too much time was spent on the first part demonstrating very basic construction techniques for the ladders which I’m sure everyone would know and more time could have been devoted to actually demonstrating how to pull it all together joining ladders and snakes, that was rushed through and no actual sewing demonstrated. That was the complex part and the real heart of the project, what I expected and would have appreciated more thorough instruction for.

Matt Wildings class was great, clear explanations and demonstrations, Matt is a very good teacher. Thank you.
