Create Academy Avis 445

I was unsure about joining the Create Academy as it was a yearly large payment. However the short video snippets shown looked good, so after much deliberation I decided to go ahead.
I have only just joined but I’m loving every minute of it .

Love it! Besides being beautiful to look at it is a great way to learn!

This course is at just the right level to give you the knowledge and confidence you need to try botanical dyeing. Sian explains everything very well and simply leaving you inspired and ready to start - no overwhelm and not feeling you have to get it perfect every time. It is about experimenting and taking notes and having a play. Loved it.

An excellent course which covers the many aspects of nutrition

The instructional videos are beautifully shot, and the information is inspiring and very helpful. The accompanying PDF's are like gorgeous books which are a pleasure to go through in their own right. Very glad I signed up, thoroughly worth every penny!

These lessons are easy to follow and you see the passion of the instructors. I am enjoying the Floristry course and would definitely refer a friend.

I really enjoyed the interior design courses I watched, especially the seasoned designers such as Rita, Nina, Bunny, Miles and Amanda. Lots of practical tips alongside inspiration from the designers own homes. I would highly recommend to anyone undertaking their own project or a fellow professional as it’s always reassuring to hear from designers you respect.

I enjoyed Kate's interior course very much. Willow's course, while enjoyable in parts, was rambling and repetitive and I never completed it.
A transaction to renew my annual subscription automatically was deducted off my account but when I complained about it I received a prompt response and a follow up email. I am awaiting a refund now. I thought the way my complaint was handled was very good. Thank you!

First, I really like the variety of courses offered. While there are ones that I might not watch in their entirety, I have also been surprised by some that I wouldn't have chosen individually but am glad I had the option to view. The entire website is very easy to navigate and I appreciate that. Customer service and response time to emails has been great. I'm starting my second year of membership.

Zero stars was not an option.
The 'Tranquil Home' was more of a personal testimony/home design feature from a TV makeover show than a lesson on design. The homeowner/designer simply rambled on...often appearing to be lost for an interesting detail to share. It was far from a learning experience as the presented did not seem qualified to talk about design, construction or detailing. She did a lovely design project on her home and should be congratulated for collaboration with an architect or contractor. I was expecting much more of the learning session than an overpriced TV episode.
I was intrigued by some of the other offerings. Though I am more inclined toward clean, modern and Scandinavian design than ornate, flowery upholstered and accessorized spaces, but found the presenters in the free episodes (at least at a glance) were far better.

Interesting topics with fascinating people. Easy to navigate and the fact they say they will be adding new topics frequently will definitely have me subscribing every year. I’m learning quite a lot already.

I have just started watching the videos and would say that after watching the first two of the Sarah Raven course this subscription is worth every penny. I’m really looking forward to watching Anna Jones as her cookery book is a favourite of mine.
This is going to be a wonderful activity for the dark evenings ahead. Thank you

I was a little hesitant to buy this course as it was a little expensive, but I can honestly say it is worth every penny. I am an experienced sewer for many decades now, and I have learned many little techniques which I can use in my sewing, not just in making a wonderful lampshade. The course is well-made, informative, and inspiring, so much so that I completed the videos in 2 days. Thank you so much for sharing your skills and love of textiles. I cannot wait for my supplies to arrive to make my own lampshade.

I purchased a subscription to Create Academy in 2024, and have not only greatly enjoyed the content, I feel as if the instructors have become my companions as I've been renovating my house this year. "Something new, old, black, gold..." or "Make everything look intentional, even it it wasn't on purpose..." or "modern light fixtures with vintage night stands..."

I have renewed for a second year because I need more time to absorb and continue learning from the fantastic courses. I'm so happy to have access to this education!

I have really enjoyed my annual subscription and have just signed up for another year. The courses are varied and beautifully filmed and of course the content of some is vastly better than others. There are a few that feel like ‘fillers’ but the meaty courses by Willow Crossley, Nina Campbell, Alidad, and Sarah Raven are amongst those that are superb.
The customer service is also excellent with speedy and helpful responses.
If you sign up for the annual subscription with access to all the courses I think this is extremely good value.

I purchased a Christmas gift of a year long subscription to Create Academy in mid November and didn’t want the subscription to begin at the date of purchase. When I reached out to Create Academy by email theough their “contact us” link, I received two emails the same day explaining it would not be initiated until the code was entered. I greatly appreciated their prompt service and helpful manner.

I have fallen in love with Create Academy! The teachers are so knowledgeable and inspiring, and the videos are beautiful, too. I cannot wait to see what future courses you will offer!

Sarah Raven's courses for the Cut and Come again flowers and Magnificent Pots are just brilliant. I've learned so much and the workbooks included are very organised and so informative. This is filmed throughout a year so to get all different seasons and stages from sowing to planting to full grown plants and flowers. All is filmed at Perch Hill farm, her private garden which is open to the public occasionally. The videos are stunning! Her garden, plants and pots are beautiful and I've enjoyed listening to Sarah explaining her ideas and sharing her experience . It made me feel inspired and have been taking cuttings, sowing and planting already, bringing that knowledge to practice. I can highly recommend it!

Such a terrific variety of courses, something for everyone and such great tuition. Well presented and clear work books to keep and refer to. Love the fact I can dip in and out of a course when I have the time and refer back. Such a great idea. Keep them coming.

Create Academy is truly my dream come true. We just bought an old house with a garden and this platform offers everything I wanted to learn and apply in our new home. From interior design, through gardening, furniture restoration, crafts and cooking, it´s a marvellous collection of knowledge and skills. The courses are really well-made and it´s very enjoyable to watch the videos. I highly recommend it.
