Create Academy Avis 445

It's very simple to purchase an online course with Create Academy. Although I'm only part way through The Small Garden Design Course by Butter Wakefield I have already learned so much. I like that I can easily fit the learning around my busy life. Also, that I can repeat modules if I need to. The content of this course is really useful and it's so nicely presented. I'd like to be in a classroom with Butter, she seems a lovely person.

I love the course , so far I’ve enjoyed hearing about all the places which have influenced Tess , many of which I am familiar with but up until now have not looked at in enough detail!

I’m so excited to do a lesson from create academy every morning. I’m restarting my design business after a 15 year break. Having these different perspectives from a wide variety of designers and topics, has been the best refresher course. Brilliant idea.

I resisted buying “ just another class” for a year. With the Easter sale I decided to try it for one year…..Ohmygosh! It’s the best and so detailed and complete! I love it!

Love it.. exactly all the things i've wanted to learn.. I have been endlessly searching for Rita Konig content on Youtube but haven't been able to find too much! So I am happy to finally have more videos to watch with her and her advice. I hope she comes out with more content. Also, it is hard to find how to make curtains and lampshades on Youtube in the exact way I want to learn. This has been perfect.

I hope more videos come out on: making pillows with antique natural fabric, blankets.. more upholstery videos (bed headboard cover). Embroidery & hand sewing, more on block printing and making wallpaper. Anyways, those are just suggestions :-). I also love Emma Burns - maybe she could do a course on her design style and making the perfect bed/bedroom!

Can't wait to see more content... I am addicted!!!! :-)

Other suggestion - sometimes the camera angles aren't great for sewing etc. Please work on getting the best angle so newbies like me can see everything :-) Thanks!

Create Academy instructors are some of the best in their fields. The video and sound quality are top notch. I have had a subscription for just over four months. I have completed at least a half dozen courses.
So why only three stars? The website and platform are a bit basic. There are few playback settings and given the short videos resetting every 3 - 8 minutes is tiring over a 68 lesson course. Seeing a pop-up about streaming using Airplay is great, but again -- every 3 - 8 minutes?
Additionally the website isn't very will integrated. After finishing one course I clicked 'Instructors' rather than 'Courses' to peruse for the next class. Found one with no way to start it. Ended up going to courses and searching for that class and instructor.
Not the top notch experience you would expect from a stable of professionals like these!

I have two courses now, dried flowers and flower pressing and I absolutely love them. So interesting. I’m gathering material to start my projects soon.

The courses are not too long and are interesting. I can do more than 1 at a time if I like. I enjoy moving at my own pace, and having the ability to rewatch parts of a course if needed.
The information I'm learning has been useful and I will definitely use it moving forward in my creative processes.

The Bunny Williams course was very interesting and informative without being boring. If you are looking for basic interior design this is not the course for you. She explains how she decorates and her ever evolving design knowledge and how she is self educated. I enjoyed seeing her homes and office spaces and the thought that goes into everything she does.

good videos and clear guidance. Good for beginners but some useful reminders and tips for more experienced gardeners too.

A great course indeed! However I just grant four stars for when learning to make lampshades we also want to learn how to create cardboard lampshade. And the course doesn't show any training in that field.

My husband gifted me the houseplant care course for my birthday which I loved so much I bought a gift voucher for a friend for Christmas and then in the New Year I bought myself a year's access to all the courses. I absolutely love it - so relaxing to watch and inspiring to try.

I think this is the best gardening course I've ever done! over 9 hours of easy to follow videos covering every aspect of growing flowers for cutting. Full of useful tips from choosing colour pallets, design and sowing to planting and harvesting. Would highly recommend this course to beginners and more experienced gardeners.

Very thorough courses. Much better than some other "masterclass" type of websites. You get very actionable lessons. I learned a lot and took multiple courses. The floristry course especially was a favorite.

I really am enjoying this course with Amelia Freer. She explains everything so well, doesn’t make anything complicated and even says you can eat chocolate - yay. She appears friendly and approachable and I’m learning so much

Having had an issue with my subscription which was a gift for Christmas I am pleased to say this has now been resolved. The courses are great and I really enjoy the content and opportunity to learn new skills.

Currently trying to get through my first class: Willow’s floristry master class and I have to comment because I don’t normally make reviews.

Willow is extremely slow in her explanations, she trails off and jumps around often - making it extremely hard to follow. She refers to every flower and pot as “she” which after a while becomes quite annoying to hear. She often goes into what I can only explain as a trailing off describing a visual scene as if you were in a creative writing class.

I really really wanted to like this class but the way it is executed has put me off from other courses. I will try more but I thought I’d send this as feedback because the bones are they to become a good class if the information was organized and presented in a clearer fashion so that viewers attention is captured and stays.

Willow Crossley’s floristry masterclass is full of all the details and her clear explanations are great for beginners like myself looking to start a career working with flowers. Looking forward to exploring many more of these courses more throughout this year. Highly recommend. Ruth

So far it has been great! I do wish there was an App and that it could be easier to watch on phone when convenient. Usually I watch by putting on my Frame Tv. But I don’t always have that opportunity. I am learning a lot and have definitely been inspired! Highly recommend.

The course is the perfect length and broken up into segments that are easily digestible. The visuals are amazing as Amanda takes you through her Hope Hill home to see all her advice in action. You will want to get on a flight to the Bahamas and have your own tropical escape at Hope Hill. Amanda was able to so eloquently explain how she creates her world class interior designs (broad strokes to the fine detail). I watched the entire course in a 12 hour period. More addictive than Netflix!
